    Well i for one am someone who really doesn't like spidey because i think he's just popular for nothing, it's like Wolverine and X-23 seriously and now he's appearing in the new X-Men series?! WTH? i mean i understand he's funny and all but for me that just it he's only funny nothing else......

    People relate to different characters.

    I'm going to assume you actually read his comics and came to this conclusion instead of just hating on a character you really don't know.

    Spider-man is one of the truest heroes Marvel has, He's far more relatable than almost every other super hero

    1. He is relateable because of his social and money problems 
    2. He always does the best by other people regardless of what impact it will have on himself 
    3. Iconic, recognisable costume 
    4. He is funny (unless Slott is writing him) 
    5. He gives countless geeks hope one day they will also be able to go out with a supermodel
