uncle ben's final advice was " with great power comes great responsiility", but he did not know about the spider powers and he was talking about regular teenager stuff even if it was really insightful for the moment. what if uncle ben knew about the spider powers, would peter really have been imprinted with something so meaningful? ok, so peter was a wrestler in the beginning, getting profit from his new found mutated genetic powers, what would dear uncle ben have said if ben knew about peter letting a crook walk away who eventually kills him.

He probably be disappointed, about the fact that his nephew didn't use his powers for good which caused someone to die, but he would be proud that Peter has gone on to protect random people from natural disasters and super villains without asking for rewards, recognition, or even thanks.

I think if Ben knew that his death would cause Peter to become the hero he is now...he'd have happily walked into that bullet.
