What Is Currently The Best "Spider-Man" Book?
Imma go with Scarlet Spider, especially since it seems like they're trying to revive the totems concept, which I really liked.
@thetrolldance: What would you say is your second?
I had to vote to see the votes so I picked Superior.
I want to see he people vote as it'll give me an idea of which title to pick up.
Yea that's pretty much what I wan't, I already read Scarlet but I fell off Amazing Spider-Man way back during Ends of the Earth because I don't like the whole Peter Parker: Super Scientist schtick
SCARLET SPIDER!
*runs away*
Damn Straight!
*throws net over*
Wait, tell me some more about it! I know nothing about Scarlet Spider. Where's a good place to start?
Depends if you want to research the background of the character or not. If you do want to then you could read Spider-man: Grim Hunt and all the issues of Amazing Spider-man involving Spider-Island or if you're feeling really adventurous the Clone Saga. If not just jump on at issue 1 of the current Scarlet Spider series. The first issue is pretty newbie friendly and the series is one of the best (if not the best) Marvel is making at the moment.
@strider92: wow thank you much sir
Comixology is doing a 99 cent sale on number 1s and 2s right now so you're right on time with that recommendation!
@extremis: No problem hope you enjoy the issue :)
@punyparker: 1 or 2 "bad" issues only
Which ones? I can't describe any issue as "bad" till now, but there are a couple of them I didn't enjoy as much as the others.

Probably that's what i meant....didnt express it properly.
(i didnt get that notification when you replied to me.....weird.)
C'mon MAN WHATS UP WITH THAT?
I really enjoy Venom, Scarlet Spider, and even Superior (haven't read Avenging) still
man that's actually a tuffie.
I feel like I'm going to vote for the genetic vote, but I'm going to go with Scarlet Spider.
Venom is great but I personally believe Kaine's story was taken the Spider-mythos to new levels to the point they made Spider-Man have all the powers but none of the responsibility aka Superior.
That is just my opinion though.
