I think spiderman would have huge potential. We all know iron man has been able to roll with the big boys like hulk and even thor, and he's just a guy with a huge education and tons of money. If spiderman were rich he would be a SUPERPOWERD rich guy with a huge education and tons of money. Spiderman could have waaay more potential then iron man (let alone batman, lol). Pete already created web shooters and extremely strong webbing on a salary of bread crumbs :/. If he had aaaaalllllllllll the money of ironman or batman, spidy would totally be in the higher tear classes with iron man and hulk. I don't know if he would have suits or whatever, but he would probably do things in his own way. He has the potential to be way smarter then batman and iron man, especially since he would be able to go to college easily and learn soooo much more.

Aunt May would have inherited Parker Enterprises. Peter would cry and pray one night after his journey around the world following Uncle Ben's death, saying "Lord, show me an omen!"

And in an instant a mutated spider, having escaped from a Parker Ent lab, entered the room and bit him.

"A spider! So I shall become!"

Read Superior Spiderman for that. Peter Parker cannot be rich his character works due to being chronicaly down on his luck with money women and his social life. If he had cash and used it to upgrade his tech they would just forget about the upgrades like they always do. Spiderman is supposed to be "relatable" While it is ok for him to have a series of unbelievably hot love interests he cannot be ever stop being the underdog. That means no lasting improvements and that when he is on a team he cannot be more that a self blaming constant joker.

A lot of relatable characters are rich and not as fundamentally average joe as Peter is depicted as like Lucy Heartfilla from Fairy Tail for example. Besides, it's poor writing to regress negative aspects as a constant theme to a character as long lasting as Spidey, Spider-Man through the years has proven he's got what it takes to convey respect, competence, intelligence and maturity to work professionally and be taken seriously by other vetern heroes plus become one of the marvel u's greastest heroes a iconic legend like the Avengers big three. Writers kick him back to basic poor man status because of the status quo opinion like yours Spidey can't be as successful and interesting if he's become better or more lucky.

I agree. I think Marvel's attitude is a HUGE problem that holds Spidey back from becoming what he could be.
