He would search to erase crime and to do so he trains to search the peak of his spider-powers, with the creation of a utility belt filled with the best gadgets. What would be his capabilities?

Then he possibly would never ever be beat.

Batman is almost godly without powers, giving him powers as Spider-Man would definitely be godly.

Would kind of take some of the relatability away from the character, which I think would hurt him deeply as a character.

He'd also be way too broody, in my opinion. That seems like too dark a story for my liking.

Aside from that, he'd be no different. He'd probably still fight like he does now. More acrobatic and the like. He kind of does use a utility belt in the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series. He's got trackers, electric webs, a motorcycle that shoots webs and can run along them...so pretty much the same. Just more serious and probably be a detective.

He can't be that good, but he will be good. The reason being is Batman trained with people comparative to his own physicals which pushed him to his limits. Much like Iron Fist, before he became Iron Fist he had to fight through 100s of other fights almost to the death. Black Panther is another great example.

Peter would have to train and inherit the spider bite afterwards to meet his full potential.

I'd actually enjoy this as an alternate universe storyline, except for the assisting the murder part. You do mean witness, not assist, right?

Yeah, I agree. Just take the bullets out of his webshooters and possibly give him some sort of spiderang.
