What happened to Billy Connors in the Movie

I thought billy connors was suppose to be in the Amazing spiderman movie?

I think the kid in the car whos bag had Billy on it was meant to be it but there was no connection to Curt

Me and my friends had a discussion about that right after the movie. Still I enjoyed it.

I believe both Billy and Connor's wife were cast for the movie, but their scenes were cut out of the film for whatever reason.

It sucks they're scenes were cut, because they would've added some sort of drama to Connors - to be honest, when I look back at the film now, I see Connors being one of those typical crazy-mad scientists. I'm guessing that if they use Connors in a sequel, then his family will appear.
