After the death of his Uncle Ben, which he could have prevented, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." who likes ult. spiderman? if so disscuss why and if you dont, also say why. Me, ilove it,i think its better than some of the recent spidey story and its nice to see spidey as a kid in school. also i think bendis is a great writer for it.

The reason that so many people like spider-man is because he is more normal than other superheroes. When he was first introduced he was a kid that read comic books and unlike most characters his age he was the hero and not the sidekick. He grow up with the readers and now they have tried to recreate that. I personal like the amazing spider-man over the ultimate spider-man. Just because I relate to him more and love the old story lines.

He needed a modern boost; radiation isn't as big an issue anymore, but genetics is. So they modified it that way. And of course the fan base is getting older, so why not inspire new fans with a fresh look? Fans who don't want to have to go back to the beginning to hunt stories down? As someone of the younger generation Ultimate Spidey does appeal to me more than the original, since there's just more to relate to. I think the new, slimmer, more dynamic look captures his abilities and nature better, too.

i like it the only thing i didn't like is how they the symbiotes man made

I don't like Ultimate Spider-Man. I'm more of an originals kinda guy. Everything is thrown outta the way the originals were done. Goblin's different, Venom's different. They're all different and I personally don't like it.

Exactly why I don't like it. I absolutly despise things that stray from the original and don't even do a good job.

i like ultimate spiderman i think they did a good job so far but the whole venom and carnage thing i didn't like

I didn't like the Goblin thing either. More reason for me to hate it.

I'm a big fan of ultimate spider-man. I admit the carnage arc wasn't my favorite but Bendis is a great writer. We can't expect them all to be perfect.

I think that Ultimate Spidey is even with 616 Spidey. The art is great and Bendis is a great writer, so to me it equals out.

I've seen his other work and I like it's just that it's completely different from the art that we're used to from 100 issues.

he is a good drawer but whne they go from looking real to looking like a kids cartoon then i don't like it

Also I don't like the way he draws Peter Parker. His eyes have black circles around them like he wears make up or something and everyone has huge eyelashes.
