Movie looks good. Only problem I have is the Lizard design, and how he has web shooters. But still, love how they stuck to the comics(except for the part about Gwen knowing he is Spiderman so early).

Oh yeah, also the costume is hideous. Should of stuck with the original.

Looks Crazy!. I never cared for Raimi's version. This will be good.

This movie is going to be better then the Avengers I could feel it but TDKR will rule all :p

Glad to see Spider-Man is nice and witty.

Also, this is the screenshot I could get of the Lizard.

Looks freaking sick.

#10 Posted by Vincent_Valjean (38 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

I think this one is going to be way better than this idiotic version of Raimi's. Raimi for Spiderman is like Schumacher for Batman.

Wow, Looks amazing.

#12 Posted by lanebad6 (110 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

The only thing i don't like is his outfit, original is way better

#13 Posted by Avenging-X-Bolt (8862 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

I'd make a witty comment but I'm too busy wiping the apology off of my screen

Wow, it's been a LONG ass time since I tried to watch a video online and it's asked me to download the latest version of Quicktime. I'll watch this later on YouTube

#21 Posted by csl316 (148 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

Sweet. Every time I see it I want it more.

#22 Posted by RainEffect (3240 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

It looks freaking incredible, and I laughed at the 'You found my weakness!' part.

Only problem is, it's shelf life will be about 17 days, because the moment the Dark Knight Rises hits the cinemas on the 20th, people will have forgotten about the movie.

#23 Posted by fables87 (390 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

Looks better then the other movies.

#24 Posted by Kallarkz (3300 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

Avengers, Dark Knight, Spider-Man, Man Of Steel....WOW so many great movies coming out.

I AM WATCHING THE AVENGERS In T- 5 HOURS!!!

I love the knife joke. But I have a feeling this will be Sony pulling a Jessica Drew on us. "Do you really think what happened to you was an accident?"

#26 Posted by TheDealer (1024 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

Still mostly undecided about what I like about natural webs and costume and such. But I do like Denis Leary. Be a funny twist if they ended up having Gwen die like in the books. Except Norman ain't the villain here.

#27 Posted by B_Heart (151 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

So much CGI, it's too much for my tastes. The lizard looks so fake and as others have said the costume isn't doing it for me. After being disappointed by the Avengers I think I'm burned out on comic book movies, some characters should just stay as comics.

Wow, mind blown, it looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

#33 Posted by difficlus (10672 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

Idk its so close to the dark knight rises though, maybe they should push it a week back or something...

#34 Posted by entropy_aegis (12319 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

Croc called,he wants his head back. But other than that excellent.Very excited to see Lizard.

#35 Posted by NXH (1031 posts) - 1 year, 17 days ago - Show Bio

The trailer looks great. But I am still sort of skeptical how well it will do being released inbetween the avengers and the dark knight rises.

Great movie, i really like the Garfield guy.....FINALLY they made a wise-cracking Spider-Man.......Am not too excited with the new style Lizard, too but the whole movie is really looking good!

The new "smoke" web-shooters and the new codtume is a blow.....but if the movie is good i forgive them!

So, ifI'm not wrong, I believe that Peter Parker's parents were SHIELD agents and were killed by the Red Skull... Considering that SHIELD and Red Skull is part of the Marvel Movieverse developped by Marvel Studio, I'm really wondering what happened to his parents in this movie...

I think it could actually be Norman this figure in the shadow talking to doctor Connors at 1:25 ... After all, he's working at Oscorp and this creepy voice sounds like good goblin material to me (more than Willem Dafoe's anyway).

but yes, you're wrong.

"Marvelmovie-verse" = Marvel. Amazing Spider-man = Sony Pictures, thus no crossover :/

I know that, that's why I'm wondering what happened to his parents, cause it can't follow the original story. I think you misunderstood what I meant there.

Lizard needs a snout,... lizard needs a snout. But apart from that it looks pretty decent. Andrew Garfield is a weak choice in my opinion though.

#41 Posted by SupremeHyperion (1093 posts) - 1 year, 16 days ago - Show Bio

I really like the new spidey costume and I really like what I see from the clips I have seen so far. can't wait to see this movie as well as the Avengers.

#42 Posted by Dedpool (239 posts) - 1 year, 16 days ago - Show Bio

Now THIS is SPIDEY!!! Raimi films be damned! They felt less and less like Spiderman with each film.

#43 Posted by aaunderoath (152 posts) - 1 year, 16 days ago - Show Bio

Seeing this trailer makes me start to think Sony's execs saying the movie is bad is just risky bate move they're trying to pull

I have my beefs with how the lizard looks and the fact that the web shooters flash but i'm sure once I see the movie it won't matter

OK, couple comments, did I see a Dr Octopus shot about halfway through?! (1:28) Also, I'm completely sick of so many of the spider-man scenes where he has lost or has taken off his mask! That almost never happens in the comics but seems to happen all the time in the movies!

#45 Posted by revbucky (304 posts) - 1 year, 16 days ago - Show Bio

Of course I'll see it, but I'm skeptical.

I figure it's a metaphor dealing on a personal scale. Yes, it would make sense that his identity would remain intact, but it's a certain sale. People love the dynamic of the mask taken away from the hero, because without the villain's ulterior motives being interrupted by a savvy and incorruptible every man the battle just becomes the case of punch and subdue. This isn't a comic, just an adaptation You also have to figure that comic book movies won't include the same reoccurring villain completely befuddled by the protagonist's secret identity unless he will either (A) die or (B) join his cause in the end and die anyway.

Then again, it's just Sony and they do everything wrong.

Was my interpretation a little off? I'm sorry, but it will just be an enjoyable movie. Whether you would like to make more out of it is your deal.

That right there is what makes me want to see it. Wise-ass Spider-Man. Which would also be a great name for a mini-series.
