I guess they have him unmasked a lot just for Garfield to get more screen time.

@k4tzm4n: Curious, from what you saw, was there banter while he was fighting? Or simply just at placed points throughout. How do the action scenes hold up to Raimi's trilogy?

@Deranged Midget: I don't recall any banter mid combat, but that's likely because the footage was just quick cuts from the action sequences. And from what I saw, they were rather impressive. Bullet dodging at point blank, dancing around SWAT officers, etc. But, there was a good amount of banter to be had in other scenes, for example, before a fight or when he had a thug webbed to a wall and had fun using the webbing on him (I can only assume this was his first time using it out in the streets).

@k4tzm4n: Awesome!! Officially bumped up to my second most anticipated film after The Avengers! :D

@Deranged Midget: Honestly, I was skeptical about the film before this. But after seeing that footage I'm hopeful it'll be a very fun movie.

@k4tzm4n: I had the same reaction. I'm glad they went with a random for the reboot, but I wasn't and still am not entirely sold on the costume. (especially the stupid slippers) Perhaps seeing newer footage could change my mind. I do like that they went with a new villain and followed the original mythos and chose Gwen instead of Mary-jane.

Sir, I guard my skepticism, I hold it like a dear child close to my manly bosom, still what has been described is.....interesting, I shall withhold judgement, at least positive judgement, until I view the movie with my own eyes. But perhaps it is safe to hold my skepticism slightly farther from my heart

Well, now that you saw the trailer do you agree/disagree with my thoughts?
