This is glorious.

Best critique of Superior Spider-Man I have ever seen. It's always formats like this that manage to satirise things that deserve to be deconstructed and shown for what they are.

@theacidskull @fadetoblackbolt @punyparker You guys should read this funny critique of Slott's Superior run, it's awesome!

@theacidskull: Glorious isn't it my friend? However, Slott has been informed of it by the first poster so this thread might become ugly if he ever decides to use his CV account again :P

Of course, it's what you leave behind that defines you. And this isn't doing anything good in the legacy department :P

There are only two ways to get Dan slott to talk in threads:

1) Sales numbers of superior

2) Shameless asskissing

Pretty much a spot on summation of it. I tip my hat to you.

It's missing a few "I'm the Superior Spider-Man!!!" announcements as he swings into action.

I'm going to continue with my theory the stupid-heroes not catching on will be part of a longer arc when Parker returns. Evidence they don't really know him and there really is no system for the heroes for when one of their own essentially goes rogue but is still on their side (a kind of who watches the watchmen thing).

This would be hilarious if it wasn't completely, 100%, utterly true........ Someone needs to send this to Slott and Wacker......

I have to admit this is pretty funny. And I actually like Superior Spidey. As soon as I saw who posted this I knew there was no way in hell he was involved in making something this clever and sure enough I was right. Funny that he didn't feel the need to post the actual artist until about 5 hours after the original post. The art style reminds me of the sillier portions of Hellsing.

#31 Posted by JasonHawke (1005 posts) - - Show Bio

I like it!

#32 Posted by spider11211 (1134 posts) - - Show Bio

I like it!

It is good that you can admit that even though you are a fan of Superior.

There's a reason why this thread has "Spider Forum edtion" on the title

http://www.comicvine.com/forums/gen-discussion-1/superior-spider-man-so-far-1496909/

I assumed some people already seen it.

#34 Posted by Mezmero (896 posts) - - Show Bio

@frogdog: Ah that makes sense now. I was not privy to what the "edition" in the title was inferring.
