At some point in time, most superheroes (and villains) have a ridiculous overpowered hax version of themselves created. Superman Prime One Million, Rune King Thor, Emperor Joker,World War Hulk... Yet I hear there is a moronicly powerful Spiderman out there. Who is this version of Spiderman, and how powerful is he?
Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17242 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
Strongest version of Spiderman?
Captain Universe Spidey.
May I ask...what did he do?
@kingofash: Well... he once punched the Hulk out of orbit
Captain Universe Spider-Man is the most powerful, but it's more a version of another superhero channeled through Spidey. The most powerful Spider powered Spider-man is probably his Other form.
Secret Wars Spider-man disagrees with you!!!!!!
@strider92: AGREED!

Haha, Uncle Ben keeps getting killed.

In the original comics, the symbiote only increased his webbing and added disguise capabilities. He wasn't really stronger. That and him turning crazy is a recent development.

Its not like i have a bias or anything ...with that said Kaine is the strongest version of spider-man
well as far as continuity goes, cap universe spidey is the strongest, he had the power of a god, and with only spider related powers, the Other
Aren't those Secret Wars scans from a 'What if' series?
If you talk about the main 616 continuity then Captain Universe Spidey (Cosmic Spidey) has been Spider-Man's strongest incarnation.
Overall, the version posted up there is probably the strongest one. I believe those are Beyonder's powers or it just the Symbiote?
What about "The Spider"? In amazing Spider-man Annual #38 there was a version of spidey that defeated Galactus.
@dcdikrider: Not really.
@dcdikrider: wrong
There was an alternate universe Spider-Man who constantly fought beings like Galactus, and there were no other superheroes because he took care of everything. It turned out he was sucking other Spider-Men dry though. 616 Spidey, Hulk, and Deadpool went to this universe.
@strider92: what issue is this from?

One of the ASM annuals - either 36, 37 or 38. It's part of the "Identity Wars" annual storyline crossover (with Hulk and Deadpool) IIRC.
@blackspidey2099: Wow, I thought I read all of the annuals. Seems like I either have a faulty memory or I wasn't as thorough as I thought. Thank you for the information.
