I agree, Superior Spidey has been an excellent read so far. Criminally underrated. They're bound to bring Pete back eventually, so just enjoy the ride.
Starting To Like SpOck
The sales for this book continue to be incredibly high and we're past the curiosity reader stage. So I think it's safe to say you're not alone.
I don't know their are many Peter holdouts reading and waiting for Peter. The book has also had a lot of push and gimmicks to attract readers.
I do miss Peter. I still envision a gap-toothed Roy Orbison creepazoid Ock so while I can understand the curiosity and how they would translate into sales, you also have a lot a Spider-Man fans who although are very upset with Peter gone, purchase this book without fail. Pretty much what Slott was banking on and he's cashing it in.
If every person who truly were upset about this book were to stop purchasing it, this would be done and over. Oh well. Far be it for me to chide anyone, I'd choke on my hypocrisy.
I do miss Petey, though. Scarlet Spider is enough dark for me.
Im getting tired of seeing him use the word superior over and over, even when the word is out of place
how are you doing?
"Me? im SUPERIOR!" *then proceeds to screw something up to be humbled"
Yes I get it that is the title of your books. And during the first few issues he admitted peter beat him constantly, and in fact peter was holding back during every single one of their fights in order not to kill him, i thought this was a new eye opener for him so why now is he back to that ego.
