I'm starting to think that SpOck is a badass. I was wondering if anybody else thinks the same thing. I still like Pete better but SpOck is cool.

Nope. You are not alone. SpOck amped his game and did what Peter never wanted to do. He used his brain. After reading carnage usa i lost a bit of respect for pete. Venom was going for the kill and spidey stopped him. Why? It's not like he can reform, he's CARNAGE! Same goes for batman. He won't kill the joker due to his "moral" code or whatever and thus, the joker will kill thousands of people in the next month. SpOck is using his brain and making things easier.

There IS a certain appeal to SpOck. While I don't like him at all, it's hard to deny the first few story arcs of Superior haven't been... interesting.

They've certainly been interesting.

But so is a car crash.

Why is this in spider-man isn't there a Star Trek forum or something.

I like him. I'd like to see his story continue for another year before bringing Peter back. I know that's not a popular opinion, but it could be interesting to see Ock accomplish great things, and have Pete come back and wonder if that's how he should've been all along. Peter is still the man though, that scene in AvX #9 wouldn't have happened with Ock.

I'm starting to like Superior Spider too. I even grew out of the SpOck thing. Spock is from Star Trek so his name should be Superior Spidey.

That's the point. He beat down Peter to make you want him more. So that when Peter returns it actually means something. How hard is it for people to understand this?

This. Issue 9, coupled with the worst characterization of Mary Jane that I've ever seen, has ruined Superior Spider-man for me.

Welcome to the club. I've been a big Spider-Man fan for years and the thing that really bothered me about Peter was his morals. His morals always got in his way in situations where he should be dominating. I have always want to see a more darker and serious Spider-Man.

Ermmm dude Peter gets beaten by villains all the time thats not what made me dislike it. In issue 9 Peter basically openly admitted to killing a kid because he didn't want Ock to find out he was still there. Does that sound like Spider-man to you?

Yup, and the way Peter was handled in issue 9 was terrible.

He is such a dick it's hard to like him. I find in every issue I think he is okay the next one I think he is a total dick and ask myself why am I reading this?

I like SpOck. He has a cooler costume and has a tougher personality. But I still would rather have Peter back!!
