Hi Everyone

I thought I'd set-up this thread for the simple purpose to provide a place for individuals to put up what happened in any issue that SSM appears in. It's not meant for discussing the issues, lets leave that to the threads already set-up, like

• Superior Spider-Man Discussion
• Will this be the week you stop reading Superior Spider-man?
• Finally, someone knows Doc Ock is Spider-man!(Spoilers)

The whole purpose of this thread, is to allow people who have decided to stop reading anything SSM to keep track of what's going on and want to know when or if Carlie exposes SSM and When or if Peter returns.

I personally will not be filling in any spoilers as I have decided to stop reading anything with SSM as of issue 10, unless certain characters appear in the issue. But what I will do, is keep track of the issues being released with SSM in it.

I appreciate this thread. I also appreciate this thread's title -- made me laugh for some reason.

I'm using Slott's treatment of MJ and her perception as a metric of whether I'm able to respect him ever again or not. Everything thus far points to "not a chance," but I guess we'll see.

I'm very sure the mystery man is Cardiac because why else would he be introduce? He looked like Cardiac, he knows about Doc Ock's brain thing, he knows Spider-Man wasn't acting like Spider-Man. I thought it might be too obvious, but I've sorta learned that that's Slott's signature move! making it so obvious that you'd never think that's how it was! Pretty sneaky!

@teerack: I doubt it is Cardiac, because as far as I know he was never on the police force and the conversation he was have with Carlie sounded like he was on the force and something happened that got him suspended from it or "Leave of absence", also I believe the conversation happened while Cardiac was attending to the little girl in his hospital.

Just to add We see Captain Watanabe, who apparently was the one Carlie spoke with on the phone with back in issue 8, questioning the officers, who weren't forthcoming about what they saw, about the shooting of Massacre by SSM. And has allied herself with Carlie in order to expose SpOck.

Mary Jane also made it out of the fire safely, A little burnt but safe. Unfortunately what this did was strengthen her doubts regarding Peter now SpOck since he did not save her and all hope she had that she was wrong were squashed by what happened.

I honestly thought she was a goner for a second. But... hypothetically, I imagined Peter (not Ock) appearing to rescue her as he apologizes on taking so long to reach her. We only later discover that MJ had died implying in her final moments saw heaven.

I know it sounds like bad fan fiction, and I'm glad MJ survived but I felt what we got was far more depressing.

CBR announces that Superior Spider-Man Joins "Mighty" Team

This week, Marvel Comics is rolling out the roster for a new team of heroes that will assemble during the events of Jonathan Hickman's "Infinity." Led by retired Avenger Luke Cage, the new "Mighty" team of heroes gather together to protect Earth while the Avengers are off in space. With Luke Cage already revealed as the first member of the team, Marvel has released an expanded teaser that reveals the next member as the Superior Spider-Man.

Much like the Luke Cage reveal, using the Marvel AR app on the image plays a video commentary by Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort detailing where Spider-Man is during "Infinity" and his motivation for joining up with this team of heroes.

"Today's mystery character is the Superior Spider-Man, a very different flavor of Spider-Man than the typical hero we've come to know and love," Brevoort said. "Doctor Octopus has commandeered his body and is using it to carry out his own particular interpretation, his brand of what begin a hero is. During the course of the Infinity catastrophe, he is on Earth in the center of New York. it's his city. He's got it rigged with spider-cameras, spider-bots and spider-minions and there's no way anybody's going to be attacking his place without his intervention."

With the Superior Spider-Man as the latest team member, there are only four more members of the "Mighty" team left. Make sure to check back with CBR News throughout the week as more members begin to surface.

I think I just vomited in mind when I saw that picture of black cat and SpOck

They have been ever since the Mary Jane incident, but remember after the whole reboot, Black Cat does not know who is under the mask and she never wanted to know, because she was in a relationship with Spider-man not the man under it. Marvel might be thinking that, as she never knew who was under the mask, they can get away with adding romance into the mix.

In other words - What the #@&%$ is Marvel thinking.

I have a feeling things are going stir up again, especially in regards to the cover.

The reactions to Spock-Cat are already perfect.
