So rumor has it that Marvel will release an issue on Spiderman's 50th birthday, an issue where Spiderman has a sidekick by the name Alpha. I'm usually not usually fond of apprentices or side kicks but, I've looked at the scans and, I admit it looks like an enticing read. I'm willing to give it a shot, as long as I get past the fact that Alpha's costume looks like a combination of the Green Lantern and Kick Ass. From what I've read so far it presents the good old fashion Spiderman but, in a more mature fashion. Hopefully, I'm not disappointed August 22nd.

I'm really curious about whether or not he's going to have a secret identity like spider-man, because he doesn't have a mask in any of his costumed pics.
