Seems silly. I heard that MGM wanted Raimi to direct the Hobbit. I think if he is involved with the fourth, he may step back to just producing it rather than full-fledge directing. They should just recast and keep it in continuity. No need to redo the origin.

There's just no way they won't make another one. It's a guaranteed money maker. And as much as I love Raimi, it's not like he's the only one that can direct it. Yes he did an awesome job but as long as they just don't hire some hack, it could keep it's quality. It could even be good to get some new blood.

Thats what we all thought about X3. That is would sell itself and look what happened. If they make a fourth, everything has to be the same right down to the shmuck who gets the coffee.

i heard Avi Arad was quoted as confirming a definite Spiderman 4 movie but all details depend on Raimi, maguire and Dunst i guess. i heard Raimi just signed for a different film though.

I always say, X3 would've been a good movie if it wasn't called "X3." Too many things went wrong. I loved Frasier/Beast. Hated that they killed Cyclops, the Professor (changing bodies is just dumb), Jean (well she's never really dead), and Psylocke. Why the $#&@ did they name that character "Psylocke" when she pretty much did zip and got killed at the end. Man, now I'm just getting pissed. Marvel should've been more on it.

YEAH! G-MAN, thats what I'm saying. Charles switched bodys? I thought he was killed. And I liked the movie version of Cyclops in the third he was all dark and $#@!. Did ya know Omega Red is also in the movie? Who the $#@! was he? The guy in the woods fighting Wolverine? Since when is the Multiple Man a villian? Now I'm getting pissed.

For Spider-Man 4, Spider-Man could start to further mutate, becoming a giant spider, and Black Cat could show up.

I'd like to see Lizard and Kraven. Dr. Connors would be having his problems, and something will happen for Kraven to come about. Kraven will originally show up hunting the Lizard, but starts to become obsessed with "the Spider."

During the movie, Eddie Brock will be stalking/tormenting Peter Parker and Mary Jane. He'll basically be keeping the couple on edge the whole movie, but he won't be playing a big role.

By the end of the movie, a sample of the symbiote that Dr. Connors had will be found missing after his rampage as the Lizard, and guess who finds it just as he gets done slaughtering a family? Yeah...

Set up for Spider-Man 5? Spider-Man and Venom vs. Carnage!

I did see that. I think it's a no-brainer that there will be more. Maybe once they get the exact words from Raimi. I'm tired now and need to crash. Too much time on this computer tonight.

That's exactly what I'd love to see. They've teased Connors nicely for 3 films, so give him his due now and do a whole movie on the Lizard, with Kraven tied in there.

Other options would be to do a whole NYC mob crime scene involving the Kingpin (if they can use him, since that wonderful Daredevil film used him), Hammerhead and a bunch of other criminals. Tie the Black Cat in there nicely too.

i'm seeing three on saturday with some hommies, i bet twenty bucks that carnage and the lizard will be in the next one.

Venom is dead but still Carnage should be in it as well as Lizard. They already have Doc Connors in there so they might as well. Carnage, Lizard, and have Tony Stark in it to make Spidey wear the new costume. They should have Spidey wearing the Stark Armor in either the 4th, 5th, or 6th one.

There could still be a little fraction of the venom symbiote which would create carnage liquid based beings are a pain in the rear to kill off for good.

Me i'm all for the idea of lizard and carnage but i don't think kraven would be the best. i say morbius or the scarlet spider would be cool. o maybe morlun would be kind of cool. i mean i'm not saying kraven sucks it's just that there so many cooler guys then kraven

Did you read the series where Kraven thought he had finally caught and killed Spiderman? He finished there was nothing left for him to do at that point and killed himself. It was fantastic.

I said Sinister Seven and Frightful Four earlier but upon reflection I think you do have to introduce the characters earlier so the audience who doesn't know them gets a little backstory. They might be able to pull it off, but it would probably take two movies.
