The same game but spidey instead of bats. He gets 2 months of prep, all of batmans gadgets, the iron spider suit , no outside help and all side missions.
Can he do it.
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17243 issues.
Yes, and he wouldn't need Batman's gadgets. He is stronger than Batman...Arkham would be a cake walk.
Depends on how mad Bruce is, if both got 2 months prep Batman takes this easily but since that is not the case Spidey wins.
Without prep and iron spider suit Batman could put a good fight.
If Activision handles Spider-man's controls in the game, then no. He will be awful. If Rocksteady does, then Spider-man will do swell!
@punyparker: no i was just asking if spider-man can complete the game, it doesnt matter who does it better
People would probably die if Spider-Man was in the game.
He wouldn't figure out clues and all that junk.
Obviously the bosses would be a cakewalk, but not any of the detective work and such.

Elaborate.
@sheenlantern: Okayyyyy.
Well for starters, I don't think he would ever deduce a lot of the detective aspects of the game.
Like when you have to piece a crimescene together to try to find out what happened, who did it, etc.
Spidey doesn't have the tech or the know-how to do all that.
So in the case of like, Deadshot for example, he wouldn't deduce what happened, who did it, and what his next move is. And because of that, more people would die since he would be unable to stop a threat he doesn't know.
On top of that, the story would be unable to progress at parts like the whole Black Mask thing.
Spidey would see "Black Mask" dead, and assume that that's it. He'd move on thinking the day was saved. Which would lead to a bunch of other problems, obviously.

@jmarshmallow: Let's review, from the very beginning, assuming Spider-Man takes Batman's place in all aspects.
Spider-Man arrives at the prison, going through similarly to Batman but when he encounters the drone, he's able to capture it and retrieves the undamaged memory card. Moving on to the execution room, Spidey (unlike Batman) is capable of effortlessly smashing the glass blocking his path, dismantles all of the Joker's men, curbstomps Killer Croc and takes Black Mask (Joker) into custody. So that's already one person (Loeb) that survives because of Spider-Man.
Now, logically the game should be over here; but let's assume that the assassins are unphased by Joker's capture and continue to pursue Spider-Man regardless. Anyway, Pete analyses the memory card in Horizon Labs, and with the information on it plus whatever info he could extract from Joker, he gets a decent understanding of what's going on concerning the assassins and what not.
Obviously since Spidey is unfamiliar with the Penguin, he likely wouldn't be able to tie him to the drone and would probably just go around Gotham, stopping random thugs and potentially an assassin or two until the murder at Lacey Towers came to his attention. Like Batman, Spidey is unable to come to any conclusions from the crime scene, but would most likely decide to pursue the Pengiun; him being the GCPD's prime suspect.
So Spider-Man clears through Penguin's ship, making quick work of his goons, Electrocutioner and Deathstroke but ultimately comes to a dead end when he realises the Penguin has nothing to do with the murder.
But the Lacey Towers murders are irrelevent; the Joker is in custody, Spidey doesn't need to solve the case to corner Joker at the bank. Anyway, police reports of a riot lead Spider-Man to the GCPD building, which he clears out quicker and more efficiently than Batman could.
Copperhead is forced to actively pursue Spider-Man, given that he never goes looking for Black Mask, and is easily defeated. Same for Mad Hatter. He saves the police helicopter shot down by Deadshot by catching it in a web, and uses his speed to catch Deadshot before he has a chance to get away. Shiva gets totally humiliated and he dispatches Firefly with equal ease.
Anyway, cut to the final boss. Joker breaks out of prison, and sets his plan into motion to force Spider-Man to kill someone. Spider-Man clears through the entire prison, ending the riots and saving countless lives.
Joker's plan fails miserably; Spider-Man just pulls him out of the chair and webs him to the wall, then he casually overpowers Superbane and curb-checks him into submission.
So there you have it, no one dies with Spidey in charge that didn't die with Batman.

Huh. Well when you put it like that, I suppose nobody dies.
I was thinking as if everything in the prologue happens the same way, and the story plays out the same way. But that probably wouldn't be the case, so I stand corrected.
