With the announcement of a female-led superhero film and rumors circulating the 'net of a movie called Venom Carnage, it makes me curious as to what other films Sony is developing in their SM cinematic universe. Below are several movie plots I've worked tirelessly to plot, as I've researched Spidey characters and devised routes Sony could go if they want to develop the universe beyond SM solo films. I want to know what you guys think about them and what you believe should happen to Spider-Man in cinema.

    • Amazing Spider-Man's Annex: Disabled war veteran Alexander Ellis volunteers for a revolutionary exoskeleton experiment involving prosthetics, which is funded by OsCorp and headed by roboticist Mendel Stromm. The experiment is a success, but due to a computer glitch, Annex is left an amnesiac cyborg. Stromm tries to convince Annex to side with him in a bid to overthrow OsCorp and conquer the city alongside with his personal legion of machines. Annex must fight to regain his memory and stop Stromm's demented plot.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Annex 2: Annex is challenged by a new adversary, Tracer, self-described as a deity created by artificial intelligence programs to be worshiped. He plans to use his technological resources as a means to eliminate all cross-species, deeming them as a threat to baseline humans.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Cardiac: Passionate physician/surgeon, Elias Wirtham, commences an assault on pharmaceutical corporate empires for inhibiting medicinal progression for personal profit (said apathy and greed having cost his ailing brother his life), starting with a raid on Roxxon Enterprises. He invents an alias for himself as the anti-corporation vigilante crusader Cardiac. However, he must first contend with Roxxon's hired superhuman mercenaries and uncover a lethal radioactive virus called Carrion, which is capable of exterminating all life in New York.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Cardiac 2: Elias Wirtham has taken a leave of absence from the superhuman scene to concentrate on administrating his biological research firm. However, he is forced back by the depraved murderer Massacre, the antithesis to Cardiac, whose primary intention is to send people to their deaths in troves.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Code: Blue: If there's something weird in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? No, not those other guys (what're their names anyhow?). Yeah, that's right; Code: Blue - the police special forces unit founded by the American government agency S.A.F.E. and specially equipped with the means to subdue superhuman threats. It would be the first film to feature a police unit actually emerging triumphant in a bout with a supervillain. For casting info, see here.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Deadline: Synopsis coming soon. Starring Sandra Bullock as Kat Farrell.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Loners: Synopsis coming soon.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Morbius: Dr. Michael Morbius, a former associate of Curt Connors, attempts to rid himself of a rare blood disease by splicing his DNA with that of a vampire bat's. The experiment has quite the opposite effect, instead causing his condition to progressively worsen; it transforms Morbius into a vampiric creature who must subsist on the blood of others to sustain himself. Now, with his craving for human blood increasing, Morbius reaches out to the one man capable of empathizing with his condition: Curt Connors. But his mission to find a cure becomes complicated with the intervention of oblivious, yet well-intended hero Spider-Man and the forces of S.A.F.E. in pursuit of him.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Prowler: Hobie Brown, a science prodigy and notorious burglar-for-hire, reforms after an altercation with Spider-Man. Spider-Man manages to convince Hobie to use his talents for the benefit of humanity instead of for himself. Utilizing the technology and resources he's acquired over his thieving career, Hobie begins to honor Spider-Man's advice and targets shady criminal figures, going by the alias of the Prowler - a boogeyman to criminals. Tombstone, a would-be kingpin on the rise, becomes his first target. For casting info, see here.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's The Pulse:Synopsis coming soon. Starring Kelly Hu as Whitney Chang.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Sandman and the Outlaws: Repenting for his past crimes, William Baker, better known as Sandman by the public, relishes in his ability to help people and change their perception of who he is. Along with his team of reformed villains, the Outlaws, he believes he can make a true difference in the lives of New York's citizens and in the world. But when Doctor Octavius re-emerges with a new Sinister Six and a plan to make New York kneel before him, Sandman is forced to confront the eight-armed madman and his team of genetic abominations, as well as his haunting past as a criminal.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Slingers: Spider-Man has long since been an embodiment of hope and empowerment in the hearts of the world's youths. Inspired by his presence, five university students develop a dream to become superheroes themselves. One of them, Phil Urich, a Daily Bugle intern, stumbles upon one of Harry Osborn's hideouts. He uncovers the Goblin Serum and an assortment of paraphernalia - pumpkin bombs, heat-seeking missiles and gliders galore, including a variety of hydraulic exoskeleton suits of armor. Informing his colleagues of this discovery, he convinces them to use the technology he's discovered to become superheroes, like Spider-Man. And hence, the Slingers are born. However, their resolve will be put to the test when a genuine threat emerges in the city. For casting info, see here.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Silver Sable & the Wild Pack: As the matriarch of the European state Symkaria, Silver Sablinova indulges in the family's mercenary business to support her state's economy. But her present operation is complicated with the interference of the Foreigner, an internationally-renowned mercenary - and her former husband...
    • Amazing Spider-Woman: After being saved by her idol, Spider-Man, Mattie Franklin begins to acquire his abilities. At first, she is confused, but eventually discovers that physical contact with the hero's DNA somehow activated a latent ability within her body. Inspired by the selfless exploits of Spider-Man, Mattie comes to grips with her powers, patterning her superhero identity after his to become the world's first Spider-Woman. And just in time, too, as she'll soon receive a brutal lesson in the folly of hero worship in a bout with her first super-powered adversary: the unbalanced Paper Doll, a papyrokinetic psychopath hopelessly in love with Spider-Man. She'll resort to any measure necessary to prove her affections genuine, even if that means killing Mattie's adoptive father, J. Jonah Jameson, a persistent obstacle for her lover. For casting info, see here.
    • Amazing Spider-Man's Toxin: Patrick Mulligan is one of the city's most esteemed cops. But he leads a stressful life, burdened by concern over his family's welfare and the pressure of being a law officer in a city that continually defies law in every discernible fashion. Things take a turn for the worse when a maniacal alien symbiote bonds itself to Mulligan. Now the unwilling host to a deranged alien life-form, Patrick must challenge the symbiotic offspring to an internal tug-of-war for control of his body and defy the wishes of its degenerate parents, who want him to embrace his destiny, either as a force for good or evil, respectively.

And this list of SM properties doesn't even begin to tap into the universe's cinematic potential. Along with an entire library of deliberately-devised story-arcs, which can be drawn from over nearly six decades of SM history, a vault of characters ranging from a rich supporting cast to a lethal rogues gallery, and the multitude of alternate realities featuring different Spider-Men in the comics (May "Mayday" Parker, Miguel O'Hara, Miles Morales, Noir, etc.), Sony truly has the means to create a unique cinematic universe, all revolving around the Marvel Universe's titular hero.
