In Superior Spider-man? Like no hope of return dead, like Ultimate? Catching up on my Spider-man comics, so I wanted to know. That would be a serious bummer if he is.

There is always a first time. I say that Peter's DEAD the moment his mind was transferred into Otto's body. The only way for him to return is to bring forth his younger self into the present. But before Spock's rein is OVER, I want to see him battle Mayday Parker(Venom) who will be his worst nightmare.

Well the only thing that happened is memories were transferred and overwritten...basically he was brainwashed into thinking he was doc ock no? And there have been times during battle where he started quipping and he noticed that was a little too parkerish. I don't think it's permanent. Just another way to get peter back to the single life, number 1 hated enemy of NY. He had too much good going for him apparently lol.

This mind tranfer from doc is stupid for starters... maybe well written and draw... but for a fan that reads spider since number 1 like me... its stupid... real good stories ended steve dikto... real bad ones started with tod macfarlane and the stupid clone saga... now this!... Actually i read the spider stories but stoped buying since peter died... it will be like this until he comes back!

And any true fan of the REAL spider-man should stop giving money and stop buying the spider titles... Its the only way that Marvel can understand that Peter Parker should be back... With a drop of sales and not a rize in curiosity.

The Answer for when Parker will be back is, when the lizard (Curtis Connors) get it stuff in gear. So far there have been hint of him digging up Dr. Oc's body. Plus, the very fact that Connors is the only one that now (as stupid as it is) that the current spider man is not really Peter Parker. This is because Parker told him something only spider man would now "that Connors mind is in the lizard not the lizard mind".
