I think if Spider-man was gonna have any weapons, he should have something like Rubber Pellets that he can shoot. That and some mad martial arts skill.

if he had to have anything beyond webshoots i would have to be a staff because knives and swords were made to kill and he doesnt kill

None of those weapons, although Scarlet Spider had some cool gadgets that spidey could use like the darts, and impact webbing
