Rejected Spiderman Movie Costume
I think they all look kinda cool.
But its too hard to depart from an iconic uniform like Spidey's and not confuse/piss off too many people. As much as people cry for creativity they still want what they know.
To be honest with you guys, i thik the Third one would work better for a Batman costume.
Spiderman is one of the few character that using his comic book costume make sense on screen.

Mind if I ask how it makes more sense than any other character? I'm not calling you out or anything, I'm just curious. Why does it make more sense for Spidey to dress up in spandex, yet the X-Men dress up in black leather suits?
None of these fit Spider-Man to be honest.

If I had to guess I'd say it's because of his origin since he made the costume himslef for wrestling.
the third one would make a sick spiderman 2099 costume actually........... they should keep that concept art if they ever decided to do such a film
The three are equally awful, but if i were in a life or death position and I have to choose one, I would go for the third one
@jonsmith: The X Men use yellow and blue costumes, you character costume send a message, comic books dont have the same advantages that movies, like the fact to look the texture of things, besides the fact you have a bigger range of colors.
In first class they used the fact this was the 60s to bring this colors and Magneto red costume, in this period of time using this colors made sense, today they look out of place.
Spiderman is a teen or a young adult, besides that his personallity is to make jokes and thing like that, so strong bright colors fit him.
Spiderman costume is more timeless that the X Men.

see the thing with xmen though the colored costumes would just look to goofy imo. i mean can you really imagine jackman in the yellow and blue? i know im not adjusted to it but with the alternate ending in the wolverine i think the yellow and brown is better honestly

AHHHHH IT BURN ME EYES!!!
AHHHHH IT BURN ME EYES!!!
Might not actually be so bad if they replaced the blue with black, cut down the ears to be more like the Wolverine and the X-Men cowl. Maybe make the parts on the sides and back a sleeveless jacket or vest with a yellow undershirt.
@jonsmith: You just simply redesign it, so the point stay.

or make the yellow a bit darker and turn the blue more navy blueish
@geekbait: Ew thats not spider-man thats dr.cocktopus
And thank god these were rejected. The new costume looks so much better.
The third one is ugly, in my opinion... I like the second one the best, just take away the armpit webs and I think that one would be the best for a movie.
