I have this much to say. F*Ck JOE QUESADA! They literally just retconned every good story that has ever happened from the wall crawler's books. You've gotta think about what Stan's thinking. Stan's pretty pissed but if he shoots JQ in the face, I'll be his lawyer and see to it that he rights wrongs. I'm disgusted. I really am. I would expect this from a Superman writer. Unbelievable. Anyway, discuss your anger here. I know I will.
Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17242 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
One More Day (WTF!?)
it really makes me not want to read anything with spider-man in it from now on because of how sick it makes me feel about what they did .

I didn't see them PM them to me.

SPOILER!
Peter is 15 again.
Maelstrom says:
"I've been talking to you a little too much, bro.... it's a conspiracy, man... ...it was really Superman wearing Spider-Man's costume and Pete's face... who made that deal with Mephisto."
SUPERMAN MUST DIE!

dont forget super hot i mean ..lets see ..hot sexy wife or old hag ..i know what i am choosing ..and he so made the wrong choice .
Hey if we can make Peter 15 again, I say we bring back Cap and do this to him. Can't be worse than retconning EVERY F*CKING THING!
I already wore out my rant energy on the other thread, so I'll just say this: God damn them. God.Damn.Them.HOW THE HELL COULD THEY DO THIS????!!!
Maelstrom says:
"That looks pretty cool, Bro. Symbie Cap! They can't do that, Arrow, since it seems that the Winter Soldier will be the new Captain America."
LMAO seems Marvel will do what ever screw the story !

Buckshot says:
"A lot of anger and yelling in here."
And Superman bashing. I'd be angry at that, but Superman's comics are good. At least I can read them and the excellent Green Lantern while Marvel are busy ruining Spidey for all of us (myself included).
One can only hope your words come true, Forever. Because with the angry fans across the spectrum... there's a big possibility of a "Spider-Man Exodus" from Marvel because of what happened. And I can't say I blame the Spider-Man fans (myself included, although I'll admit I'm not as passionate about the character as others).
Forever says:
"Perhaps there's a chance that this change is only temporary and that Peter will learn enough to be able to move on and then everything will go back. Maybe that's wishful thinking but if I had written what has happened that would have been my longterm plan."
I'm thinking they're gonna try to hook him up with 's girlfriend Lily's best friend:

He's my favorite but it seems some others are far more passionate about him than I am.

I wouldnt doubt that for a second.

I've seen. I feel so bad for the fans who have loved Pete for all their life, this is such a low blow. Regardless of how long you've been into comics, when you finally get into a character(s) and you've come to know them as well as you have, it's like they truly become a part of your life and to have to deal with things like this, it really does hit a nerve.

Thanks, the write up sounds good.

I'd like that, but I also think repeatedly changing Peter's life and history is incredibly stupid and a waste of time. They shouldn't (need to) be going back and changing stuff all the time. I personally want to see people stick with their guns. If they're just going to redo the character or his world, it makes me feel like I'm wasting my time and I shouldn't bother getting invested in a story. If they're going to "fix" this (and they should) I don't want to see reality being altered, Peter and MJ should hook up again and get through it somehow.

Thought the same thing when I saw her.
I'm curious... how does retconning parts of Pete's life NOT affect the other heroes of the Marvel Universe? Wouldn't a Domino affect occur since certain events(that involved heroes/villains) would not have happened? And even if they did, it would have happened differently so... this is quite conundrum.

I agree with that completely. Of course there are all of the factors of the fans to look at though. You have to keep the characters young because most of your fan base is always going to be young. So if Spider-Man ages too much, then Mister Fantastic, just to pick on one person, would have to age as well. It's the same problem they have with Franklin. He should have graduated from college by now, but if that happens everyone else has to age too. So they keep trying these little tricks to keep the characters young. DC does a much better job of replacing characters instead of keeping this perpetual fountain of youth. They still do it with Batman and Superman and several others, but they do a much better job than Marvel does.
I'm sure that plays some part in this.

Great point and part of what I was typing in above. We'll have to see what they do with that but there are several different things they could do.

The thing is, no matter how they go about it. The fans are weary especially after what they've done and I couldn't blame them. They better have a damn good storyline together. They don't need to possibly mess up other characters. Places the Fantastic Four in a safe place.

Damn good storyline? The way things have been going I doubt it. I just hope they limit the damage.
Want to make a couple of good statements before I go to the bad.
I like how they were able to get mehisto (Can't spell his name) get a reason why he would want to, lets say "help" them. I thought the whole your love is the rarest love ever. I thought that was good.
I loved the scene where the comic starts going black with just those two. And Mj says "Face it tiger you hit the jackpot".
Now the bad.
COME ON! I mean you build up this character since Idk the 60'S. And you get him to be one of the first young non sidekick hero ever and build up his character from a 15 year old teenager to an adult. Then you give him 2 advancements in his powers that we don't know if he still will have those advancements now seeing how is 15 AGAIN.
Maelstrom says:
"Forever says:"lol Yeah if only."Fingers crossed. Lol. Or maybe Mephisto is really a Skrull with some magical abilities.
"
I'll never read Marvel again if that's true.
