Looks like people are enjoying the new Ultimate Spider-Man animated series. Marvel has announced that a second season has been ordered by Disney XD. The series debuted in April and has more than doubled its total views.

The series follows the adventures of a youthful Spider-Man who joined S.H.I.E.L.D.'s exclusive training program alongside other superpowered teens to lear what it takes to become Super-Heroes.

With the second season, it appears we'll be seeing even more guest stars.

That's right, Wolverine will be showing up. That makes sense given his past ability to guest star in multiple comic titles each month.

Man of Action will return as Co-Executive Producers along with Creative Consultant Paul Dini and more scripts by ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN comic writer Brian Michael Bendis.

Besides guest stars such as Wolverine and members of the Avengers, we will see more classic Spider-Man villains along with discovering the secret origins of Nova, Iron Fist, Power Man and White Tiger in this animated universe.

OOOOOOOOH, OKAY!!!! I see how it is! So we can have another season of this crappy show that nobody wants, BUT WE CAN'T HAVE ANOTHER SEASON OF AVENGERS!?!?! Makes sense.

I wished they used his classic blue and yellow or even his new one but i hate this costume

If they could chill on Spidey breaking the 4th wall every 5 minutes, then I'd enjoy it more. Save that stunt for Deadpool.Then again...how about they flush this series down the drain? If they can' t do a decent rendition of Luke Cage and Iron Fist, then why bother? How does this flop of a series get another season while the great Avengers series get cancelled? This must be the Twilight Zone.

lol, Wolverine and the X-Men, Spectacular Spiderman, and Avengers: EMH all get cancelled early and this lives on. Either Marvel Animation is run by evil masterminds or there are a lot of people into crappy cartoons.

Im looking forward to it. Real lame that they cancelled EMH

It took a few episodes to get pas the corniness of it all and I'm enjoying it now.. I understand it was originally aimed at Disney XD male tweens, but it seems a lot of adults are watching it and expect the Avengers, Young Justice quality. Hopefully Marvel/Disney pick up on this and mature Season 2 up a little.

This show is awful, and Jeph Loeb is awful for believing that kids don't want shows with storylines.

Little kids are the problem... They are so easily entertained that cartoons can stay alive for a long time based on just them laughing at one butt joke. Of course they kept some good shows alive, but still... little kids are Marvel's targets I suppose. I'll stick with Young Justice and Green Lantern until I can see trailers for Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. or the newer avengers show.

Wolverine gets his claws stuck in a wall, that is so funny, with super funny scenes like this it's no wonder this is getting a sceond second and EMH got cancelled.

If they really want to call this show Ultimate Spider-man, they should include the story arc where Logan tries to bang Mary Jane in Peter's body. THAT I'll watch.
