Thoughts?!......Spidey Peter again,after the reboot?!

Marvel Are Planning A "New 52" Style Reboot?

nop it's not a reboot marvel already said back when the announced Marvel Now that they won't reboot everything. This is either a update to all the origins or a reprinting of the original Stan lee and Jack Kirby story's.
I wouldn't mind updated origins. Really as long as all the MAJOR stuff that happened is still canon and the characters are still themselves, I'd be up for this. Besides I think they kinda already did the Lee and Kirby reprinting

Considering some of the names on there, I think it's safe to say it's not the latter.
I thought the slow introduction of the Marvel Now titles was as near as they were going to come to a "New 52" equivalent
Personally I don't like the idea of peter missing out on one of marvels "events"
if its Ock instead, it'd just be wrong
We've already had some hints that Marvel might be planning a complete reboot akin to what DC did with their New 52, and this might just confirm it once and for all. Check out a vague teaser, which still makes an obvious dig at the rival publisher..
@Strider92: I dont blame you,it took me more time to figure it out than you....
TELL ME NOW THEY'RE NOT REBOOTING!!
(i think Pete will be back as Spidey and then it will happen....)
@PunyParker: They've just done a relaunch of sorts and said they won't be rebooting any time soon. So despite the obvious dig at DC and the other cryptic teaser, I don't think this is a relaunch nor does it confirm Peter's return.

@PunyParker: I bets its an arc of some sort.
Agreed on that. Yet another event from Marvel. Woo hoo...(!)
Hope not. They should have use Season one as a rebooting starting point. They have those as the origin and jumped like 10 years into the future for their stories. Every story between the characters first appearances and 1989 is still in continuity. Solves the the las 20 years of badness.
No reason for the reboot... Plus if they would do it a couple months after NOW and relaunching most of the titles, it would be a brand new level of stupidness.
I would sure hope Marvel wouldn't be dumb enough to jab DC about the new 52 just to do the exact same thing themselves. They announced a "Of The Dead" teaser earlier, maybe this means that 52 characters will die and I don't feel like counting but there may have been 52 names in the "#1" teaser.

Dude I've to you they won't do a major reboot marvel have never done something's like that so why start now ?
Because they've destroyed all of their decent characters and you can only write so many "Iron Man wins coz of Random-Armor" stories before even the cretins recycling the stuff get sick of it.
@jloneblackheart: Bendis has basically ignored The Thanos Imperitive in magically bringing back Thanos and Star Lord but Richard Rider has been replaced by a crummy lackluster stereotypical teenager Loeb's made to pay homage to his son. Again. It's sad Loeb's son passed away from cancer, I'm not saying that but Loeb has stamped the name Sam in a lot of his work.
Loeb's lost his mind. It's sad, but he's gone mad with grief now.@jloneblackheart: Bendis has basically ignored The Thanos Imperitive in magically bringing back Thanos and Star Lord but Richard Rider has been replaced by a crummy lackluster stereotypical teenager Loeb's made to pay homage to his son. @Markus_Langbourn: I didn't pick up on the Avengers EMH random characters thing. What's worse is that all this has been caused by Loeb's abomination of Ultimate Spider-Man which has a new Nova called Sam in. That was bad enough. And of course Loeb has now put him in the 616 universe disregarding the character who we've come to see as Nova.
Yep, but sadly it's nothing new. Current writers are always urinating on the fans and the characters in order to push their own agendas.@Markus_Langbourn: I didn't pick up on the Avengers EMH random characters thing. You know it's cases like these which make me glad there were series like the New Teen Titans. My uncle gave me a whole bunch of the Wolfman issues and I have to say aside from excellently written stories with compelling characterisation and gorgeous artwork, the creative and editorial teams listened to the fans in the letter column and tried to write a series that the fans wanted to read. No wonder it's one of the most critically acclaimed and best selling series DC ever had.

Thank God Marvel isn't that stupid lol
Well, it now seems fair to say that this may be even bigger than just a comic book relaunch! A list of creators for Marvel #1 includes names like Joss Whedon, Mark Millar, Stan Lee and just about every single "Marvel NOW!" creative team.

It looks like they just threw big names in. Mark Miller must be bust with Kick Ass 2 and the X-men and FF crossover Universe. Joss must be busy too. And Stan is getting to old, and doesn't need this crap. What is SXSW?
@Ninjablade09: Marvel: House of Ideas panel....its at a Gaming Expo....(thats all i have...)
I saw Mark Bagley......hmmm.......he didnt draw anything MARVEL-ish for some time....(except variant covers, whitch dont count)
Jeph Loeb.....(oh God...)
Dan Slott......(NO,we didnt get rid of him!)
Romita JR. (YES!)
....lets hope its something good, and Peter Parker-ish!
@PunyParker: I was hoping season one had something to do with Marvel NOW since it basically retold the origin in a more modern day. Jump like 10 years into the future and everything pre 1990 in cannon. There you go Marvel your mistakes are fixed. Doubt the will get rid of Slott they think he is the best Spidey writer around. I also see Ramos' name there too. Well this whole thing is set up to fail. I hope Peter returns. Stupid move to "kill" him after his 50 year anniversary, and right after a big blockbuster movie came out. Slott you suck. Amazing Spider-man would have reached 1000 issues. First comic to do so. He would have finally outshined Bats and Sups in something.
@Ninjablade09: Well....he is the most loved Superjhero around,since....forever,as long as i remember!.....they tried to ruin him a lot of times, thru comics, movies or anything else, but he still have loyal fans, and always will!....
As for Slott.....we absolutelly agree on that!.....Peter will return,obviously,but the Q is ,wheater we get a new writer.....artists are good(Stegman,Comuncolli).....'xcept Ramos...add Bagley,bring back Caselli,and i'm ok!
