Does anyone else notice that mark waid is pretty much taking elements from Spider-man and putting them in Daredevil books. I mean think about it, Daredevil is supposed to be this really dark and brooding character and now suddenly he's all lighthearted and cracking jokes and what not. Daredevil also met black cat before in Evil that men do, and neither one of them seemed very interested in each other, and now suddenly there intensly attracted to each other? Also Spider-man fought against mole man in Avenging Spider-man #3 and now Daredevil is gonna fight against him next in Daredevil#9??? WTF!!! Please tell me that I'm not the only one noticing this.
Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17241 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
Mark Waid is ripping off Spider-man!!!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Daredevil was more like this before Miller made him broody.
And Waid is brilliant. Homeboy wrote Birthright, Kingdom Come, Tower of Babel, and many other great things. He's allowed to do whatever he wants to any character as far as I'm concerned, lol.
I just didn't like the way he portrayed Spider-man, he made him so incredibly lame!!! and that really pissed me off.
@spideyfan69: I haven't read the issue yet, but surely it can't be that bad. Ever read how Bendis treats him in New Avengers? That's just horribly sad.
I didn't find this funny at all. I don't appreciate my favorite character being made out too look like some sort of loser.

but ummm....that's the way Spider-man has been written since he debuted....he's supposed to be a loser...nothing goes right for him...Parker Luck

If that ticks you off, then boy, you're in for a rough ride. Most of Spidey's history is not kind to him in that department.
The Black Cat thing doesn't bother me, Daredevil is a man whore second only to Iron Man in the Marvel U, eventually he'll find another chick
Big difference between life making Pete feel like a loser, and the writers putting him in a position where he looks like one to the reader though.@spideyfan69 said:

Grim Hunt Pete was at his lowest, and no one in the Universe would call that guy a loser.
And Mark Waid's a genius, but modern Marvel has a habit of bringing out mediocrity in even the best.

Prior to Frank Miller writing him, Daredevil was always kind of lighthearted. Waid's run has kind of been a return to form. Also the Fantastic Four fought against Mole Man in Fantastic Four #1 in 1961. By your logic whoever wrote Avenging Spider-Man 3 is ripping off Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
@InnerVenom123: That panel is awesome!
I don't think that panel portrayed him as a loser I think this is a pretty good reaction to seeing that and as FadeToBlackBolt said he was at his lowest during "Grim hunt" and "Back In Black" and still set the bar of "not to be f***ed with" most people who saw BIB or GH Spider-man coming at them would be shitting bricks lol. Although I do agree Black Cat going off with DD is out of character and should never have happened.

Agreed
Daredevil is nothing like Tony Stark. The Black Cat thing doesn't bother me, Daredevil is a man whore second only to Iron Man in the Marvel U, eventually he'll find another chick
