Move Over Zac Efron, Logan Lerman wants to wear spandex!
Move over, Zac Efron! Logan Lerman of the upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians may be in the running to play Peter Parker in the upcoming 'Spider-Man' movie. At least according to a recent interview he did with Billy Bush. Apparently, Sony and Lerman have mutually reached out to one another in order to discuss the possibility of the actor to play the role, but according to Heat Vision both Sony and the actor's representatives is "not the frontrunner and no actual 'business discussions' have been made with Lerman." Honestly, Lerman looks like Parker, a lot more than a lot of other actors. Also, the fact that he has a decent resume and has appeared in films such as 3:10 to Yuma and The Butterfly Affect.
"There have been a few discussions, it's definitely something I'm looking into," the 18-year-old Lerman said. "It's one of my favorite characters ever and I'm a huge fan of the series. I'd love to have more conversations about it. I'm definitely very interested in it."
"It's just, you know, conversations are starting. It's a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it's definitely a project that I'm really interested in, of course. I'd love to focus on the human element a little bit more. It'd be such a fun experience."
The fact that he has a decent resume and has appeared in films such as 3:10 to Yuma and The Butterfly Effect definitely add to his credibility as an actor, and I don't know about you guys, but I would really rather see a kid like him play the role of Peter Parker, than some overpriced guy from a Disney musical. What do you guys think?
