Inside sources say that Percy Jackson star, Logan Lerman has been cast in the Sony reboot of the Spider-Man

I think so! He should be a pretty good fit!

It seems like he can pull it off, but I'll wait to see the first trailer to give my true thoughts on the matter.  I'm feeling confident about this reboot, except for it being in 3D (I'm just not a fan...).

Definitely yes, he was fantastic in both Gamer and 3:10 to Yuma; both were excellent.  This kid is good and I think he'll surprise the fans.  I liked Tobey Maguire, but if they must choose a new Peter Parker, Lerman seems like the right choice.

Yeah, he can totally pull it off, but I am taking this "confirmed" casting with a grain of salt. I don't think we should believe it quite yet.

Thumbs up.  This is almost exactly the way I pictured Ultimate Spidey in my head.  I've only seen him in Butterfly Effect, though.

He feels like a good fit but the movie will tell.

I liked him in the short lived show Jack and Bobby, and I'm willing to give him a shot. He's a better choice than some of the other names that I've heard IMHO.

interesting...well, He's pretty hot, and was an awesome kick ass actor in Percy Jackson and the whatchamacallits... Good choice, 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 better than McGuire!!! 

Certainly better than Zac FN Efron, still think Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be a better choice but if they want to make Spidey a teenager again then maybe not!

i prefer it to all the other prospects. I think he can pull off peter parker pretty well.
