That was the most AWESOME thing I've ever seen!!! Thank You for posting this! I never knew there was a Japanese version of the Spidey TV show; hate to say, but it looks better than the American version. I believe this appeared during the 80's according to what I saw on YouTube. I know there was a disclaimer for 1978 for copyright purposes at the beginning of what I saw on YouTube, but the FX and everything else screams 80's. Could be wrong.
Did I see right? A bad guy split a cat in twain with a Samurai ( I assume it's Samurai) sword? O...M...G!! Yeah, the Flash ring, and the Spidey-Mobile! Priceless! Hot babes too boot.
The Japanese Spidey kicks ass!
Spiderman's Japanese show is waaaaay better and funnier than the north-american version, the Spider-bot and the gadgets at his disposal are outta this world.
I always liked the japanese version of the live-action more I wont be watching the official streaming on Marvel because i cant stand those original yellow subs they hurt my eyes. XD The least they could do was to renew them in a clear white updated version. anyways this is the first time i actually prefer the chinese made english subs that can still be found.
o and i have a pic of Spidey`s mecha btw just wanted to post it XD
Looks just like him. I don't know why US Marvel never tried using this. All we got was the Spider-buggy.
"Is that a Spider-Man Mega ZordROTFLMMFAO! Spiderman had a Zord before the Japanese Power Rangers had theyre first in 1979 yep Marvel`s fault XD
"
Japanese Spider-Man reminds me of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Where they fight the rubber monster which grows to an enormous height, in which they call upon megazords with their wrist watches. This show reminds me of many Japanese action shows. Btw if Japan is so advanced why can't they come up with awesome T.V. Shows?
"Keep in mind, this show was in the 70s. Not sure when the Power Rangers started out there.Already said it but im gonna do it again XD
"
Super Sentai: 1975 first Robot: 1979
Spiderman: 1978 Robot: 1978
Power Rangers (in japanese Dubs) : 1994 (What the hell where they thinking?)
So in fact Spiderman is the first Japanese Tokusatsu show to use a giant robot and the first Sentai robot came out a year later in Battle fever J that also was a collaboration between Marvel and Toei (and the last) so im kinda getting the idea that it was the Marvel side who made it up the huge robot idea no Marvel no Zords for the Power Rangers that`s for sure^^
yeah like thats nothing like spiderman, the USA spiderman would not be using a rifle on anyone Japanese Spiderman dosen't even have spiderwebs stuff or webslinging nor spiderpowers just martial arts skills, a custome, a fancy car, and giant robot, and WTF is professor monster?
and i do like the idea of spiderman fighting those unique looking monsters but this spiderman just has martial arts without actual powers it wouldn't be much of a fight.
