Your right..All superheroes do have tragedy in their lives and they all cry about it and they all feel depressed because of things in their lives...but Spider-Man is the only one who ever gets called on it.There are countless superheroes who end up being sad about things that aren't even as bad as what Spider-Man has been through.So all I am saying is..whenever a hero cries about something that is tragic..they are cool but when Spider-Man does the same...he's emo.That is what I don't get.

I witnessed some insults toward an emo once, so I had this amateur psychology though out about the subject, just to see what those emo haters think of that (not saying that anyone here is a hater though, just wanted to post that thought)

When one is saying that he hates emos, hate being a very strong emotion, he states that he hates himself and lives his self-loathing out on others to feel better about himself. (works with emo=emotional principle)


Edit: posted mostly of topic, so on the subject....Spider-Man an emo?....don't know, I usually don't label people, that leads to problems, and to be honest I don't see a point in that.

According to the "Spidey Brain Trust"  he is around 25 years old.

Peter Parker is definetely emotional all right. But he isn't "cut my veins to end my misery" emo. He's still got great responsibilties he needs to address to. I don't think he's that emotional enough to stop being Spider-Man, if that's the emo you are thinking.

Kinda, he deals with grief and melancholy like a 15 year old listening to alice in chains. He just gets his butt off and does something about it as Spider-Man which makes him suicidal at times. He's the poster boy for whiners in the Superhero community even though his life isn't that bad compared to others.
