I just read the issue where Curt Connors transforms into the Lizard again and seemingly kills his son Billy, really chocking issue. However, it isn't explicitly shown that he actually attacks, you only see him roar and freak out. Has it been confirmed that Billy Connors is dead?

@CantSpellMyName: Spider-man found Billy's corpse and also during the arc "No Turning Back" you see his dead body. So yes Billy is dead.

As the Lizard, Conners ate Billy to sever his ties to the human world, then Morbius used Billy's body to make a cure for Conners.
