I love Bendis' story right now. Miles is growing on me, and he finally got webshooters, and I just want more of this story! Does anybody else feel the same way?
Spider-Man
Character » Spider-Man appears in 17242 issues.
Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
Is anyone else enjoying Ultimate Spider-Man right now?
Yes, yes I am lol
The Ultimate Universe isnt talked about much on these forums but on comicbookresources, there is a pretty healthy forum for the Ultimate universe.
Miles is growing to be a great character and not just a Peter Parker knockoff. Also, his unique powers are awesome :)

UCSM is awesome right now. One of Marvel's best comics right now.
Yeah, it is my second favorite comic right next to ASM.
Ultimate Spider-man has always been a solid title and I've always looked forward to a new issue
I honestly think that everyone who has ever read Ultimate Spider-man should reread the book since it's so much better after you know that Peter is going to die

That sounds like a good idea, when I get the time I might do it.

Its ok ,I love the bedroom scence with his mum thinking his having happy time , but I prefer pete , I dont like the way this new spiderman got his powers, not original.
Yeah I enjoyed that part also. I don't mind his origin, it is very similar to Peter's, but I don't mind it.
@slvr4surfer: I like the spelling, booyouteefol, and yes I would have to agree. It is great artwork.

Yes, it's been absolutely fantastic lately.
why did this appear on my inbox?
It's a great book so far, real fun. I love watching Miles try to be this new hero and live up to the legend that Peter built around the symbolic character of Spider-Man. I really think making this new hero pulled off, it's really set the Ultimate Universe in a new direction and Peter's death has affected just about everyone. I've been following the Ultimate Universe for a while now and it's interesting to see how far along it's come in 12 years.

Yep, it is nice seeing Miles trying to live up to Pete's legend.
The book is fantastic. And the art has been nothing short of spectacular; going from Sara Pichelli to David Marquez.
The only downside is the editors need to shoehorn the 'Divided We Fall/United We Stand' crossover. It's so clumsy because the growth and discovery Miles Morales has had feels like it's taking place in an ENTIRELY different universe apart from Ultimate/1602-verse. The Ultimate line has been whittled down to three titles, so I understand why the book needs to be included. It's just unfortunate that it couldn't be treated like say 'Astonishing X-Men' or adjective-less 'X-Men' in being a part of continuity, but, uhhh, not entirely.

This is true.
