Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
I feel there's a special connection between them, well not romantically. During the secret wars in Amazing Spider-man cartoons, Spider-man chose Storm from the X-Men to join him save the world.
They teamed-up against Smokesreen.
We also got this team-up.
And lastly, we saw them team up to fight against Magneto in Marvel Avengers Battle For Earth trailer.
I wanna see them team-up again.
Any idea who would be the perfect villain for the two of them to work each other as a team?
Quite hard to think of a single villain who would give these two trouble (mainly because of Storm's huge damage output). I guess the Sinister Six would be match.
i think they were also on th marvel adventures avengers team together, it would be nice for them to have team up, it might happen in either avenging spiderman or A+X

I never really saw them developing any special connection, but as for writing they're useful to put together because their personalities are so different. Storm makes a good "straight man" to Spider-Man's comic relief, especially in an ensemble book.

I would read that ensemble just to see how many electric jokes would be made!

HOw about sentinels, or multitudes of jets just like the intro trailer of marvel vs capcom 3 where Spider-man and Storm showed up?

The dude who shoots lasers (which he can't fully control), the telepath (who occasionally both loses control AND dies), the usually psychopathic berserker, the blue acrobat kitty cat, or the lady whose not only hailed as a goddess, but throws lightning bolts like one?
Spidey made the logical choice. That doesn't prove a special connection, in my opinion.

Of course i make threads which doesn't involve Storm. Lots of em.
Spidey has met Storm a lot of times more than the other x-men except Wolverine. So I think they still have a connection
@jhazzroucher: I would quite like to see a short series involving both. Along the lines of that Wolverine/Spider-man series we had not long ago. Except better written and with Storm instead of Wolverine ofc. I think it has some potential.
