what was his greatest feet strenght wise, who can you compare him with, how strong is he???

#2 Posted by Strider92 (16613 posts) - - Show Bio

Spider-man is a 10-15 tonner under normal conditions depending on the writer. When he is pressed, bloodlusted or exerting himself he's most likely above the 20ton mark.

He has the proportionate strength of a Spider. Which spider? Who knows.

flicking a rail car with a finger is a bit much dontcha think?

The guy's strong enough to stagger the Hulk. Problem is, he holds back so much so often it's difficult to gauge an upper range of his strength. The best feats have already been posted, save that one where he was trapped under a great deal of debris with water pouring in, and managed to lift it. Putting him on average judging from his high showings? I'd personally put him at about 30-40 tons when not holding back, but also not bloodlusted. When he's angry, I'd jump that up to about 50-60, 80 max. Naturally, he's only getting stronger as he gets older. And when you factor in how fast he is in addition to his strength, he actually hits even harder than that.

He's credited at being able to lift 10 tons, but has feats which suggests he's much stronger.

I dunno. He only has 2 of them so......the right one I guess?

Well he knocked out a t-rex with one punch. When he first appeared he could lift 15 tons and after the other his strength doubled.

Parker holds back so much we've never really seen. I'd say holding up a skyscraper office building puts his upper limit over 20 tons though.

I agree, perhaps even a little more above the 20 ton mark.

I think 80 tons maximum is pushing is it a little too far. >.< He'd be owning most of his enemies if he had that kind of strength.

I'd say 25 tons is his maximum.

20 tons at the most. Maybe a bit more if he pushes himself.

#12 Posted by sommyt (348 posts) - - Show Bio

25 40 tons. At most

#13 Posted by JimTheSurfer (560 posts) - - Show Bio

15 kilogrames.

#14 Posted by mewmdude77 (993 posts) - - Show Bio

at normal levels, he can lift up to 10 tons, but when really angry, I'd put him at a max of 30 tons.

@Strider92: Hey, I can't recognize the 4th scan. Where is it from? I'd like to read that story (or reread it). Thanks in advance!

#16 Posted by CrimsonSquire (42 posts) - - Show Bio

10 tons was his limit a few years ago, it's probably increased since then.

And, then, Otto's probably a bit stronger (don't kill me, guys!).

#17 Posted by DMXN (93 posts) - - Show Bio

We don't really know his full stength, because when Ock became Spidey he took Scorpions jaw off with one punch, and Otto said that all the years we have seen Spider-Man fight he must have been holding back. He was probably holding back because he was afraid that he wouldn't control his strength and kill somebody. So we cannot be sure about the limit of his power.

Spider-Man is really strong but they nerfed his power after one more day so it's hard to judge. Pre one more day he could throw cars pretty long distances. Although he may be un-nerfed at this point because in ASM 694 he was able to land a plane on his back. The Mass x The Speed must have made that feel like 100 tons AT LEAST.

I've always thought that his full strength was never shown. @Teerack: Cool scan. Is it yours or did you find it somewhere?

This so very much.

@Lvenger: @sumafatrider: I think he's listed officially between 20-30 tonner. He almost always restrains himself in battle, so 20-30 tons could be off, given the equation of adrenaline rush + life threatning = ? tons then you could add revenge + blood lust to that equation =?? tons. Spidey has been pushed over the edge a few times, remember the whole Morlun thing? Superior Spiderman/Spock even said he had no idea how much power Peter had and admitted he'd been holding back all this time, so i guess you can kind of guage it from there.
