We know Pete's speed is pretty bamf, but how many punches can he get off?

In the first scan, Pete is pulling his punch as much as possible, and it was too fast for anyone to see, or rather a blur to them. The second is the narrator pretty much saying he was punching with machine gun speed, obviously certain machine guns vary, but some have a firing rate of 6,000 per minute/ 100 per second. What do you think?

    IMO:

    Full-strength: 20-30

    Full-speed: 50-60

Spider-mode (most efficient combo between strength and speed, when instinct takes over): 40-50

These are all just estimates based on past showings - I have no feats to prove any of it... :P

    Those do seem pretty accurate.

@heatblaze123: He was once stated to blitz at the speed of Sub-Machine Gun Fire, so that could mean between 500-1000 punches per minute or 16-8 punches in a second.

    Its hard to say though.

In Marvel Future Fight, Spider-Man's main attack is bullet-quick punches. There are about 3 punches and a kick in about one second. Sorry if this isn't a great example.

Since his speed seems to be 40 times greater than a human's and an average throws about one punch per second then I'd say he could throw maybe 40-50 punches per second at best

@heatblaze123: thank you. And I'm glad this thread was made because as a fellow Spider-Man fan learning about his limits fascinates me

It really depends on how much power he wants to put behind each blow really. Think about this, A normal human boxer can hit a speedbag with about 5 light punches a second. Now Spider-man because time effectively slows down by a factor of 40 to him could hit that same speedbag up to 200 times in that same space of time, problem is they would have literally no power behind them despite him having class 40 strength. so he slows it down throwing harder punches slower so instead of 200 punches at "normal human strength" he throws 20-40 at low level superhuman levels perhaps the 1 ton level when he wants to pull his punches. Slower if he wants to unload.
