Ok so, whenever a new villian is introduced he\she always beats spidey on their first battle. And when round 2 comes along spiderman beats them with practice. This cliche has been done on numerous heroes. Has he ever beaten a villian the first time ?

Umm... Obviously? Sandman, chameleon, doom, scorpion. Nearly everyone... The only's who he hasn't beaten on their first is Doc Ock, Electro, Vermin.

Those two are exceptions. They're immune to Spider-man's main advantage, his spider-sense. Not to mention they're basically stronger, faster, and more versatile versions of him, with none of the moral restraints. Of COURSE he's going to lose to them when he doesn't have an advantage of his own.

Spider-Man technically beat Rhino in their first encounter.

Actually most of his villains get beat in their first fight with him, That's actually the usual reason they hate him so much.

ASM #41. The two have a brutal fight before Pete smashes Rhino's face into the ground.

You could make a case for Spider-man beating Venom in their first encounter. It was two fights, but Spidey didn't really have time to go back home and strategize between rematches or anything like he often does.

Actually Venon was one of the few villains Spider-man did beat in their first encounter. He caused the symbiote to use use to much webbing thus weakening it (it ofc no long has this weakness) and caused Brock to fall from a great height KOing him the process. So yeah he in fact did beat Venom in his first encounter with him.

He beat shocker in the ultimate spiderman video game in an instant.
