If Spider-Man were to have existed in the DCU, before or after Flashpoint, who would he end up with. Here's my list of runner-ups:

Wonder Woman. Her stubbornness and strong-willed personality would be an interesting match for Peter, who is shy an nerdy.

Catwoman. A black cat stand-in, basically.

Kara Zor-El. She almost won. Something about her and Peter just works. But not as much as him and this next character . . .

The best love interest for Spider-Man in the DCU is . . .

Barbara Gordon A.K.A. Batgirl

I respectfully disagree. I think Spidey would sympathize with Ivy after she's been mistreated by men all her life AND her plight for plant protection hasn't been taken seriously in the least. Ivy would like Spidey probably because he wouldn't try to use her like all the other men in there life. Plus there both nerdy scientists who love biology (I can only assume Spidey loves botany cause he's so good at biology). And Ivy recently joined Birds of Prey, and isn't nearly as nuts as she was before.

Would be a fun pairing but i' don't think Pete could look past the fact she's killed people in the past. Spidey has trouble dating Felicia because she's a thief. I don't know if he'd see past Pamela's past.

I personally think that would make the relationship more interesting, in the fact that there is connection but restraint. Means there's lots of development, and we care more about Ivy/Spidey. Much more interesting then head over heels in love in every which way. I would read that comic book, and I'd see the crap out of the movie/animated tv episode!

She's sort've sarcastic, but she's still loyal to the group. And she's not the building blowing up, human feeding psycho she was in...say, Harvest or something. But like I said, the fact that she previously murdered people but has changed make's the relationship all the more interesting and intriguing.

I suppouse it's different because she didn't murder civilians. But she DID murder people. And Spidey was pretty damn close to murdering Kingpin last time he had the Symbiote, and I'm not 100% sure, but I'd be willing to bet that Spidey's killed one criminal in all his years of comic book existence.

i get a kick out of spiderman hooking up with Ms (captain) Marvel so i say go for the closest thing to that in the DC universe, New Earth 2 Powergirl.

I'd say Wonder Woman, supergirl, or Poison Ivy. Wonder Woman, since she's smart, and nice, and she could remind Peter a little of Gwen (since Gwen was smart and nice too, and a little on the feminist side I believe). supergirl since she's like Ms. Marvel, just younger, and then Poison Ivy is like Black Cat, just with red hair.
