Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
I don't have a problem with good movies but TASM 2 was a garbage movie.
Superior on the other hand was awesome. But keep telling yourself TASM 2 wasn't garbage so you can sleep at night thinking something good with Parker happened withint the last year when really it was just a pile of crap movie.
But that's what it's coming down to again in the end of your comment. "destroying a character" because change and so many of you are scared crapless of change in comics. It was new it was intresting it was different and well written but because it wasn't the normal Spider-Man you're used to you freak out. The last comment on saying Spock could work on his own if it's not Peter says it all. You don't hate Superior because of it being bad or anything. You hate it because it changed something about a character you like.
