    I have asked a similar question regarding Anne Hathaway playing Catwoman, so now I ask you Viners this: Do you think the 27 year old Garfield can play  the 16 year old Peter Parker?

    Well... if 67 year old Luke Perry could play 15 year old Dylan for ten years on that show I remember vaguely as a kid... and Miley Cyrus's younger brother from the Hannah Montana show is played by a guy twice her age... (uhm... my TV... channel.. remote is broken... and... I have to watch that show...)

    And who cares if he is old?  if he is a good actor and the movie has a good script then there is nothing to worry about.

    Age isn't that important.  Andrew Garfield is a pretty good actor so I'm sure he'll be fine, besides he looks so young that he could pass more as a high schooler than Tobey Maguire did.

    Just watched the trailer and I have to say I'm liking it thus far. Since the first pics of him in costume came about I preferred his look to Toby's.
