Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, which he could have prevented, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became the Amazing Spider-Man!

Peter no doubt, i'll even go one step further and say I like Ultimate Peter more than 616 Peter.

Why don't people make actual polls for questions like this? I like Morales. We already have a Peter Parker, and as time wore on and the 616 slowly absorbed the Ultimate features, they weren't different enough to warrant them. It was the right call to move in a new character.

I was 15 when i started reading Ultimate so i attached pretty easily to Peter...(he is 15 in Ultimate universe...for people who doesnt know!)

How is this even fair? Miles doesn't even have 20 issues yet as opposed to the 100+ that Peter has had. It's obvious that most people would choose Peter since he's had the chance to grow as a character.

@Strider92: It's really a piss-off but surely a dedication to the character and honouring his sacrifice. Kaine is basically Ben now, save for the personality :P

@Lvenger: From what I've seen of his art in those issues, the pencils seem extremely rough for some odd reason.

Kaine is a fantastic character well deserving of his own series. He is completely different from Peter and the SS series' success is proving it. O'Hara was interesting as well. Different power set, different person, and one hell of a setting made his series well worth the read.

So I repeat Strider's question, what's wrong with them?

I vote Miles because, well, as 616 Peter's status quo is now more like ultimate Peter's, the Ultimate version is rather redundant.

Peter is better, doesnt matter if its alternate universe or whatever, i can tell you guys one thing Utimatum made me stop reading ultimate comics while the death of ultimate spidey was when i stopped reading ult.spidey comics, no one can replace peter, especially a character that acts exactly like peter when in costume

Hate that they'd replace Spiderman.

And since they made him black I feel like a racist for hating him.
