Yes he died. He fell from a clock tower and Spidey wasn't quick enough to shot his webs a little bit earlier.

Also...didn't everyone all ready know going into the movie? Look at what she's wearing in the trailer for crying out loud lol.

That last preview clip hints at this VERY heavily. Sheesh, I watched it and thought it was so blatant that it must be a red herring.

I'm pretty sure the director also said MJ was cut from the film because they didn't want to take away from an important event in the film. Or something like that lol.

And that was the right thing to do.

@fallschirmjager: Oh yeah, they did say that. I hope they rethink Shailene Woodley as well. Divergent was awful, and her bad acting only made it worse!

I'd rather see Pete/Felicia in the next film.

didn't see it. Tired of teenage novel movies to be honest, especially since when they did one I am a fan of (Eragon) they completely butchered it.

I was listening to a podcast today and they said they don't think Woodley has a long term contract with Sony, which is strange since movie studios nowadays are doing that for all their CBM actors/actresses to avoid having another RDJ situation like Marvel did (where he did a couple, then they had to pay him an ass ton of money).

So its quite possible they'll recast her.

I just think whoever comes next after Gwen is going to be under some pretty serious audience scrutiny lol, I think it might be wiser to have a quick, unexpected fling with Black Cat going on to get Pete back in the game, and the audience more ready for MJ.

I think Felicia is less easy to compare to Gwen, and in the long run it doesn't matter if the audience see her as an interloper anyway because their relationship is always going to be a temporary thing.

They probably are going to introduce MJ in the next movie, maybe they put Felicia just to cause a consufion in peters head, who he should be..something like that could be cool if done right.

Yes, Gwen dies, its actually a very poignant and well filmed version of the famous piece from "The night Gwen Stacey dies" comic. I will leave it at that. Bring your tissues!

Felicia is a hard thing to pull off on screen......it's a complicated relationship,to "fit" in a movie....it's not the standard Peter Parker love story.
Also ASM4 may not featture Garfield and Webb,so they have only ASM3 to do something about his love life.....and that's MJ.
