Hey I think its a cool idea ..... I mean the muscial needs a good singer and a strong lead role, I think he's perfect.

When I think high school Peter Parker, I think of someone quite geeky and awkward.  He even retains this quality, to an extent, even after gaining his powers.  I don't think Zac Efron or Logan Lerman can pull off being genuinely geeky and awkward.  They are both too damn 'pretty'!  I believe a little known or completely unknown actor would be the best route to go with it.

This is what happens when anybody gets cast.  They all said this about Heath Ledger (as Joker), Christopher Reeves (as Superman) and a bunch of others, but the thing is you won't know until you see it.

So they keep talking about who is playing Peter and who the villain will be. There are a couple of conversations about who will be Mary Jane and Gwen. But what about Harry? Or Norman? So if he stays in high school, there won't be any Dr. Connors? Lame.

I really dont think this would be a good idea. Although he is a young actor and the spiderman reboot will happen starting in high school. But this isn't high school musical, he is a some what good person but then again....one problem that will really make me mad is how cheesy it would be if we had a disney channel star play the role of one of the most known superheros in the world.

Well,they should consider him,Its not right that people bash on him because he was in "High School Musical" He may have been in a little girls movie..But he gets paid more then your parents..So stop with the critisizing.
Peter Parker is small,Skinny,and Linky. Kinda what Zac Efron is,So i would give him the part if i was given the chance to. 
It would give Efron a good chance to prove you Critisizing losers wrong.

I'd prefer him to be spidey than that fag from that new percy jackson film!

I watched percy jackson and the Lighting thief yesterday, and I support Logan Lerman for Pete's role....

I really don't care about how good a job he would do. He's ZAC EFRON. Maybe he should get a chance as far away from the High School Musical stereotype before he takes a part like Spiderman. But right now, sorry. The answer is no.

My Theartre teacher forced us to watch "High School Musical Three" and do a report on it (which I blew off, by the way.) Based on how he was in that if he gets casted I willnever never never never never never never never ever see a Spiderman movie again

People have been complaining that John Kricfalusi as Captain America is a terrible idea. But that's a much better role choice than Zac -friggin-Efron as Spider-Man. 

what is the world coming too when they want to cast the high school musical douch bag as spiderman. i don't see how that would work because effron is a pretty boy, not a nerd, someone else should get the part. i completly agree with the percy jackson idea
