Just to let you know, I am going to digress a little; Ghost Rider's motorcycle can go up on walls too.

@ascended: that's probably due to rider's mystical nature. I was only asking about spidey because he always seems to climb walls instead

@jay_z94: spiderman usually crawls cause its mostly safer,gravity will push dow on him if he stands and if neither of his feet arent touching the ground he will fall, also crawling is better for stealth

He can run up walls in Spider-Man 2 videogame, i don't know if that counts though.

he did in spider man 2 and ultimate spiderman video games for short distances, and in the amazing spiderman he ran up oscorp tower but every few steps he would also web yank to gain momentum....

@w0nd: Thanks. Spiderman does run up walls quite a few times in films, cartoons and video games, but I haven't seen him do it in comics

I know in the games he does. I haven't read a ton of Spider-Man comics but from the ones I read, he hasn't done that.

@jay_z94: Really? Considering he's stronger than the average person (obviously) and he's been depicted as doing it you'd think he'd do it in fights. But like the guy above mentioned, it's probably tricky since he has to make sure one of his feet are touching the surface.

@w3bst3r: Hmmm well if he used enough force to propel himself with each step i'm sure he can handle gravity for a few milliseconds

@jay_z94: Agreed. About my fight comment though, it's an incredibly compromising position so that could also be why he doesn't do it very often.
