Hello,

I am wondering if there is a Trade paper back or graphic novel run that is the origins and start of spiderman. I have looked at the dan slott run but it's described as 'he's back' so there's clearly some stories missed. I've also look at the JMS run but that starts when he is an adult.

If there is no origin maybe one where he is in high school and starting to become spiderman.

You should start by picking up the Ultimate Spider-man Volume 1:Power and Responsibility tpb. This is a story set in a different universe and has a modern take on Peter Parker's origin story
