I can't believe Joe actually dug himself an even deeper hole after OMD he actually had the balls to say what happened with Mephisto never happened and it was Dr.Strange the wiped everyone's memories. why the hell couldn't he have at least had peter and Mj acknowledge they made a deal with the devil at that way something could have been salvaged the entire story was completely pointless and just added insult to injury. Long story short Joe Q when it comes to Spider-man is a idiot who could not pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel.

So Peter and Mj arent back together?

To be fair, Mephisto's deal was that he wanted Mary Jane and Spider-man's love, not only his marriage so the story was about how their relation kept going down until their love was broken.
 
That being said, for what I've seen the story is pretty much stupid

It didn't end the way I wanted it to, that's for sure, but I liked it.

wait...i think i have one issue left before finishing but
 wasnt strange acts the will of mephisto? didnt he make things happen so what peter wanted would happen without mephisto actually doing it? or be known by any that he did it? by making strange do this wouldnt have being mephistos work?wouldnt this help from anyone finding out about the deal and the previous life?

can they just mass retcon one more day, and one moment in time. keep the awesome gauntlet and grim hunt stuff and get mj and peter back together? i mean it isn't that hard to make a decent spidey story

I didn't even bothered trying to make sense of it. I gave up on that story a long time ago. Another thing that piss me off was the horrible art in the next issue compared to that awesome cover,

The whole thing was horrible.

So it actually was possible to make OMD even worse.

I thought it was kinda cool. Everything happened because of Mephisto, but instead of goin' about sayin' "ooh, magic," it was just a series of events that led to what we have now. Gotta say, I went into this arc with some of the lowest expectations, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.

Before I say anything about OMiT, I just want to say this. Marvel has done a great job with Spider-man. Its pretty much been a rollercoaster, they build us up with great storylines such as the recent Grim Hunt (awesome wasn't it?)  and then send us hurtling back down in an anticlimax with  a load of [insert appropriate word here] such as this whole "Brand New Day" crap, but still we keep reading... Anyways, all I can say about OMiT is: Urgh... why did they have to go and ruin it? AGAIN? Personally I don't like the way things went.... HOWEVER, like  ' aztek the lost'  said...there might be more to this arc?

Harry never died, if you had been reading ASM, you would know that. According to recent continuity, his testimony of "I'm dying" didn't mean much because he was high as a kite on Goblin Serum. Norman then took the "body" to Mysterio and had the death faked, then sent him to rehab in... (you guessed it)... "Europe". (I put that in quotes because they never really say WHERE in Europe.)  Spidey's other powers are still there, it's just that--- A: They only show up in true life or death fights B: They haven't made a story addressing it (but they have said they are still there, over and over, in the letters column) "
