Recently we saw the new line-up of the Avengers. Yesterday we saw Luke Cage proclaiming to be a "New" Avenger when we all thought he was going to be leading the Thunderbolts (perhaps he'll do both). Today, Marvel has revealed another "New" Avenger. This guy was already slated to be on the regular Avengers along Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and the others.
He's taking "responsibility for his actions"? Does this include being on the regular Avengers as well as this New Avengers team? The New Avengers book will be out in June by Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen.
We'll have to wait to see what this means. When you think about it, we didn't see these kind of promos for Spider-Man or Wolverine, who are supposed to be on the regular Avengers, based on a cover image released. Perhaps we all jumped the gun in assuming they'd be on the regular Avengers. If we're going with the thinking that the "New" Avengers will be less in the spotlight than the regular Avengers (but not as covert as the Secret Avengers), it makes sense that Spidey and Wolverine wouldn't be on the premiere team, given their reputations.
