I like watching Seven Webhead's videos; they're very informative and "accentric" =3. The Amazing Spider-Man game looks to be one of the very few good games put out by Marvel. I'll be looking for the next Amazing Spider-Man game (for the PS4 of course. ;3).

Doubt it, they will take into consideration that its so new and a lot of people wont have them yet so they will make it on both, which I will buy a game per-gen console to see the difference.

@zijuun: @punyparker: All you have to do is look at it from a business stand point. Game prices aren't going to go up with the next-gen, so your going to make the around if not less money as the first one if you don't release it on both the ps3 and 360. I mean you going to make more money from 2 consoles(that most people won't have), the WIIU, and pc, or 4 consoles (2 of which a majority of people have, especially teenagers Spidey's main audience), the WIIU, and pc? Easily the second one. Plus I doubt they would pull a Nintendo and just stop making games for the past system, I don't believe that happened when the ps3 and 360 came out. It took a few years right?

I hope they make a new Spider-Man game. TASM and Shattered Dimensions were great! Although, I think Web of Shadows still holds up as my favourite.

I dont like that Batman-ish direction.....Spider-Man needs freedom in movement and combat, and the close up cam. and barriered combat isnt it.......i liked WoS best as for those two...

They can fluid the movement more, and keep the Shattered Dimensions combat,i was cool with it,so did lots of people.

    @ninjablade09 So.....

    1. We may have a Spider-man game announcement in our hands Oct. 12.
    2. It may be anythng, and Beenox leaves a window open for a comic-book based video game....(!!)
    3. More teasing about a possible game...
    4. They're suggesting that the game will be on PS3 & 360,so current gen. These are good news!

Damn Beenox......i am excited now.....if it WONT be the ASM2(which i'll find surprising) then i will be more excited!

VIDEO GAMES: First Image From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2's Next-Gen Release

Set for release in May 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC, the first official image from the next-gen The Amazing Spider-Man 2video game tie-in promises perhaps the most lifelike version of the wallcrawler on gaming systems ever.

According to La Press (who revealed the still above), The Amazing Spider-Man 2video game will feature more challenges, an improved and more realistic web-swinging system and an overhauled fighting mechanic. As with the first instalment, this follow up will encompass more than just the movie it's based on, while New York City is set to be more alive, with consequences for not fighting crime thanks to a new "Hero" system. As we've mentioned above, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.

@punyparker: Oh hey it just started, And the graphics look like a mix of Ultimate Alliance 1 and The Amazing Spider-Man levels from Shattered Dimensions. Cant wait for that trailer release. Quite interested in the hero system, will give this game a lot of playing time.

Edit: You'll be able to play as Peter Parker in some of the ASM2 game.

AWESOME! Cannot wait for this and I'm super excited that they announced it! It's pretty safe to assume that the game is probably still in pre-alpha and that we should see some initial gameplay a few months after the next-gen release!

"Developed by Beenox, the folks behind The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, and Spider-Man: The Edge of Time, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will put players back in a free-roaming New York as the webhead with new combat moves and upgrades. The story itself revolves around Spidey hunting Uncle Ben's killer; it's set in the movie universe but existing in its own continuity.

The sequel will also introduce a new heroism system called "Hero or Menace" in which you're rewarded for stopping crime, but punished if you don't keep it up. More interesting, the narrative will actually have Peter Parker bits for players to experience."

Well......Peter Parker bits you say huh?....

This looks and sounds really awesome. I hope they put Venom in it.
