@punyparker: Lol imagine it being a Superior Spider-Man video game announcement. Hoping its ASM 2, would like to see some gameplay of the new suit in action.
I like watching Seven Webhead's videos; they're very informative and "accentric" =3. The Amazing Spider-Man game looks to be one of the very few good games put out by Marvel. I'll be looking for the next Amazing Spider-Man game (for the PS4 of course. ;3).
Aw,shock.......there's a possibility it wont be released for the PS3....i forgot,we're in the "new" generation now..........bullcrap.
And yeah, seven is very good informator, with knowledge about both movie and comics.

Yup and yup~!
I haven't played the ASM game. Is it worth getting? I haven't played a Spidey game since Spider-Man 3.

Doubt it, they will take into consideration that its so new and a lot of people wont have them yet so they will make it on both, which I will buy a game per-gen console to see the difference.
Hope so....

You have a point. ;o
@zijuun: @punyparker: All you have to do is look at it from a business stand point. Game prices aren't going to go up with the next-gen, so your going to make the around if not less money as the first one if you don't release it on both the ps3 and 360. I mean you going to make more money from 2 consoles(that most people won't have), the WIIU, and pc, or 4 consoles (2 of which a majority of people have, especially teenagers Spidey's main audience), the WIIU, and pc? Easily the second one. Plus I doubt they would pull a Nintendo and just stop making games for the past system, I don't believe that happened when the ps3 and 360 came out. It took a few years right?
@punyparker: I'll pick them both up. It's Spidey, so it's worth it in my opinion.

Yes, I concur.
I hope they make a new Spider-Man game. TASM and Shattered Dimensions were great! Although, I think Web of Shadows still holds up as my favourite.
I dont like that Batman-ish direction.....Spider-Man needs freedom in movement and combat, and the close up cam. and barriered combat isnt it.......i liked WoS best as for those two...
They can fluid the movement more, and keep the Shattered Dimensions combat,i was cool with it,so did lots of people.
@punyparker: I'm going to get Web of Shadows. If I can find it cheap enough I'll also get the ASM game.

ASM 20$ or less....
Web of shadows was awesome apart from spidey's voice <.<
couldn't get over the glitches sadly. Ruined it for me
I just hope Josh Keaton returns to Spidey, and they go back to a more "beat-em up" style of gameplay.
@punyparker: Yeah that's why I'll just get Web of Shadows then wait for ASM to go down a bit.

WoS is the best comicbook based Spidey game out......it's wonderfull.
@jackson2099 The New York Comic Con opens on October 10. The Marvel Video Games panels is on October 12 at 12:15 pm.

@bluearrow12 You will have to wait and see since we haven't announced our plans for the Spider-Man franchise...yet.
— Beenox (@BeenoxTeam) October 2, 2013
@LuisGustavoFur2 We can't comment about hypothecical scenarios. However, the "old gen" is still here for awhile.

@ninjablade09 So.....
Damn Beenox......i am excited now.....if it WONT be the ASM2(which i'll find surprising) then i will be more excited!
@punyparker: Saturday will be a good day, more batman stuff, and now maybe a new Spidey game announcement, I love that they are throwing other ides into the air.
If it was Ultimate Spider-Man 2, I'd scream in excitement.
It would be with Miles so.....nah.
Also who ar we kiddin'.......it will be ASM2.

Hope it's a CB game ......really missed those!
@punyparker: I'd like that, though! But would prefer if a new Spidey game had Miles' costume as an unlockable.

Edge of Time had the Miles costume.

Yep.Costume yes.
Set for release in May 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC, the first official image from the next-gen The Amazing Spider-Man 2video game tie-in promises perhaps the most lifelike version of the wallcrawler on gaming systems ever.
According to La Press (who revealed the still above), The Amazing Spider-Man 2video game will feature more challenges, an improved and more realistic web-swinging system and an overhauled fighting mechanic. As with the first instalment, this follow up will encompass more than just the movie it's based on, while New York City is set to be more alive, with consequences for not fighting crime thanks to a new "Hero" system. As we've mentioned above, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS, and PC.

29 min ago,so.....in about a quarter of an hour we could have a trailer, bro!
an improved and more realistic web-swinging system and an overhauled fighting mechanic.........while New York City is set to be more alive, with consequences for not fighting crime thanks to a new "Hero" system
That.......damn....that is interesting....Unfortunatelly graphics are Beenox-y...
@punyparker: Oh hey it just started, And the graphics look like a mix of Ultimate Alliance 1 and The Amazing Spider-Man levels from Shattered Dimensions. Cant wait for that trailer release. Quite interested in the hero system, will give this game a lot of playing time.
Edit: You'll be able to play as Peter Parker in some of the ASM2 game.
Nothing special or spectacular just your average teaser. :(
Webs look like the PS1 game, like it's predecessor, graphics are below average, again like it's predecessor,average,average,AVERAGE!!!...
Well.....enthousiasm=OFF
Let the bitchin' begin.(from me particularlly)
The official website for Beenox's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game tie-in has been launched, and with it comes two stunning new live-action pieces of promo artwork featuring the iconic - and extremely faithful - suit we'll see Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker don in Marc Webb's sequel.

AWESOME! Cannot wait for this and I'm super excited that they announced it! It's pretty safe to assume that the game is probably still in pre-alpha and that we should see some initial gameplay a few months after the next-gen release!
"Developed by Beenox, the folks behind The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, and Spider-Man: The Edge of Time, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will put players back in a free-roaming New York as the webhead with new combat moves and upgrades. The story itself revolves around Spidey hunting Uncle Ben's killer; it's set in the movie universe but existing in its own continuity.
The sequel will also introduce a new heroism system called "Hero or Menace" in which you're rewarded for stopping crime, but punished if you don't keep it up. More interesting, the narrative will actually have Peter Parker bits for players to experience."
Well......Peter Parker bits you say huh?....
