Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man number 1

Peter trys to tell Mary Jane about a weird dream he has been having. But she doesn't seem to be listening to him. Spider-Man has a run in with a new villian named Tracer who was robbing a bank. During the battle, Spider-Man tries to take some advice from Captain America and in doing so gets shot in the shoulder. He goes to see a doctor who bandages him up. At the end of the comic, the Doctor calls him and tells him that she has very bad news. And you are left with an image of Morlun staring down at Spider-Man's window.

Marvel Knights Spider-Man number 19

After one of Mary Jane's plays there is a news report about Spider-Man in a battle with Tracer. Mary Jane runs to a nearby bar, where she pays the bartender so everyone can have beers so she can watch the news. During the battle, Tracer takes over Iron Man's Armor who attacks Spider-Man. But soon the news was not allowed to report the rest of the battle. It is then that on of Mary Jane's stokers attackers her where she defends herself using training she had gained from Captain America. At the end of this comic, Peter shows Mary Jane what the bad news is.

The Amazing Spider-Man number 525

Tracer has all of New York City's machines running wild attacking each other. The New Avengers go out to stop them, and during the battle Spider-Man is knocked back into an ally. In this Ally, Spider-Man sees Morlun who he thought was dead. But Morlun runs off and Wolverine who had come to check on Spider-Man says that he didn't see or smell him. Spider-Man thinking he is going crazy returns to Stark Tower, where he finds Tracer talking with his Aunt May. Peter brutly attacks Tracer who does not fight back when he says, that he wanted to fight Spider-Man in his prime. At the end, Aunt May demands Peter tells her what is bothering him.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man number 2

It is revealed that Peter is dying but from an unknown cause. Hank Pym, Reed Richards, and Tony Stark all study him but can't figure out the cause of it. Thinking that this is cause by his radioactive spider-bite, the heroes go to find an expert on radaition. The go to find Bruce Banner, but when the do he is the incredible Hulk and attacks them. Using a gas to come him down they revert him back to Bruce Banner. Bruce Banner was also not able to find the cause of the problem. So, Peter goes to see Black Panther who gives him a special herb that is ment only for a warrior proven to be worthy of being king. This still does not cure Peter though. So he goes for a not science aproach to the problem and goes to see Dr. Strange. Dr. Strange tells him that he can not be helped and that he has lived a long life and should prepare to die.

Marvel Knights Spider-Man number 20

Spider-Man is excepting the fact that he is going to die. Using some of Tony's old Iron Man armors, Peter, Aunt May, and Mary Jane sneek into Lavteria and use Dr. Doom's time machine to view parts of Perter's life. Afterwards, Peter goes to Vegas to win some money using his Spider-Sense for Mary Jane and Aunt May to live off of when he dies. But it is intrupted by the Wreaking Crew who he battles. Later, Morlun is shown looking for Peter but can't find him becuase he is in a space with Mary Jane watcing the Earth.

The Amazing Spider-Man number 526

Spider-Man in this issue is found by Morlun where they start battling at the Daily Bugle. Spider-Man tries to lead Morlun away from people so he moves the battle over to Empire State Univerity. During the battle Peter says that he has never been hit so hard and he has gone toe-to-toe with the Hulk. This is probably due to Morlun becoming stronger and Peter becoming weaker as the battle goes on. At the end of the battle Morlun rips out Peter's eye and eats it and the leaves him to die when the police show up.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man number 3

Peter is taken to the hospital after his battle with Morlun. The Avengers and Mary Jane go to check on him at the hospital, where they are told that he is not going to make it. Morlun makes it to Spider-Man's room before they do and is about to finish him off when Mary Jane attacks. Morlun knocks her back and seeing this Peter gains the strength to fight on. Have stingers shoot out of his arms, eyes glowing red, and fangs he dives on Morlun and stabs him and bites him in the neck. After this Peter dies too.

Marvel Knights Spider-Man number 21

Peter's body has been moved to Stark Tower's where Mary Jane and the rest of the Avengers are staying. They are trying to figure out how they are going to explain to the world how he died without giving away that he is Spider-Man. Mary Jane can't handle that right now though and Wolverine decides to make a move on her now that Peter is dead. She slaps him and runs off. Later, Wolverine tells Jarvis he did this so she can have a place to take her anger out. At the end, someone sets off an alarm and when they reach Peter's body it is gone and only his husk is left and the window is broken. Tony says that the window was bulletproof, so either someone was very strong or there is alot they don't know about Spiders.

The Amazing Spider-Man number 527

The Avengers are out looking for Peter's body. It is revealed that he has made a cacoon that his body is in right now. While in it he has a dream about a Spider eating everyone he was close to. This Spider then tells him that he has been denying what he really is and that he needs to embrace who he really is. It appears that he does embrace his inner spider when he breaks free of the cacoon. He then returns to the Avengers and his family who can't believe he is alive.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man number 4

Peter is in Tony's lab, where the top minds in the world are trying to figure out why is is still alive. At one point Tony goes to touch Peter's shoulder, but Peter reacted before he could and tripped him without realizing he was doing it. But Aunt May tells him them to let Peter enjoy his second chance at life. Running off, Peter takes Mary Jane for a ride around the city. But when they return to the Tower it is covered in webs. It is in the tower that Peter find a figure made up of spiders who breaks out of the Tower.

Marvel Knights Spider-Man number 22

Spider-Man battles the figure made of Spiders who reveals that he should not be alive. But before he is able to stop the figure it breaks up into many spiders and runs down into the sewers. Peter returns home who are trying to figure out what is going on. Peter goes back to Dr. Strange who tells him him he is caught in a "cosmic web". He explains that he can actually choose to be the spider who made the web or the "meal" as Peter put it.

The Amazing Spider-Man number 528

Peter goes to get his cotume fixed when a building falls. Attempting to save the people inside Peter realizes he gained the ability to see in the dark. He also has the ability to feel the vibrations in his web as well as feel when wind patterns. When he find a little girl he sees that he can stick her to his back instead of just with is hands and feet. At, the end it is revealed that Tony is working on a costume for Peter.

”THE OTHER”

Aunt May becomes aware that Peter and Mary Jane are hiding something extremely bad from her. But between dealing with Tracer’s endgame and the unexpected return of a foe that Spider-Man has never defeated, Peter has more than enough to worry about. Part 3 (of 12).

SPOILERS

Aunt May has a dream about herself laying on a death bed. May wakes up from that dream and takes a look outside the window. The city looked like a disaster, May starts walking outside and runs into Peter and Mary Jane arguing. Peter tells everyone to trust him and go back to sleep. But May does not go back to sleep, she goes in the kitchen where she is encountered by a "reserve Avenger." Meanwhile Peter is out help with the disaster when he runs into Morlun. He gets tossed around until he realized that he was hallucinating. It continues with May talking to the "reserve avenger" when Spider-Man returns to see that the "reserve avenger" was actually Tracer, a Villain he beat earlier. He beats him again easily and is ready to tell Aunt May about his condition.




Spidey faces his biggest threat yet – a foe so insidious that he can’t hope to handle it alone. With friends like Reed Richards, Stephen Strange and Hank Pym, he won’t have to. But can even the world’s greatest minds change the course of fate? And if they could, would they dare?

Peter wakes up happy and goes out as Spider-Man. Morlun would confront Spider-Man on the rooftop. They begin their battle and they fight everywhere. They seem to be an even match for each other. Morlun continues to tell Spider-Man that he will kill him today and proceeds to beating Spider-Man badly. When Spider-Man realized that he might die, he takes a car and smashes it on Morlun. Spider-Man proceeds to punching Morlun's face. Morlun starts to taunt Spider-Man again then rips his left eye out. Morlun begins to smash Spider-Man's face in and then leaves him near death.




It’s the moment you never thought you’d see, True Believer! Pushed to the brink of death at the hands of Morlun, Spider-Man finds himself poised at the final precipice. Worse, his fate is out of his hands.

The New Avengers are all working to try and find the missing Peter. Peter is shown laying in an egg in under a bridge. Inside the egg, Peter is remembering his whole life, from when the spider bit him. Peter meets the spider that bit him and he talks about being reborn and that they have been two ever since Peter was bitten. The spider tells Peter to embrace it and to join him to become one. Peter accepts it and he becomes reborn, hatching out of the egg. He returns to Stark Tower to all those that he loved. They have dinner and in the middle of the night, Peter goes to his old "skin" and takes his wedding ring back.

The fourth and final month of "The Other," a startling super-story spanning four months that has turned the wall-crawler's world upside down! The next stage in Spidey's history starts here, True Believer! Peter has been pushed farther than he ever has been before. Farther than anyone should. So what changes are in store for him and, indeed, those he loves most? Can he go back to who he was? Does he want to?




Spider-Man pursues a creature that emerged from the remains of his corpse throughout the city. Along the way he discovers his body has a few new tricks up its sleeve. Peter searches out Doctor Strange in an attempt to discover what exactly has happened

Tony is doing tests on Peter to check if it really is him after his supposed "resurrection". The top of Peter's Spider suit was damaged during his previous fight so he goes to is trusty tailor, Leo Zelinsky. He asks Leo to repair his shirt for him until he hears a giant boom. Spider-Man swings towards the explosion shirtless to see a massive amount of destruction. He lifts some debris and people were able to get out. A woman tells him her daughter is still stuck inside so Spider-Man runs in to save her. He finds another casualty and shot some web lines to guide him out. He realizes that he can hear the vibration on the webs now and decides to spin them everywhere. He hears the vibration from the girl and was able to get her out before the whole place collapsed. Peter and Mary Jane are watching the news about Spider-Man rescuing those people, they tell each other love each other.
