Characteristics

  • Height: 5' 7"
  • Weight: 119 lbs
  • Eyes: Blue
  • Hair: Brown
  • Origin

As a baby, May Parker was kidnapped by Alison Mongraine and did not know her parents until they were reunited by Kaine. Peter and Mary Jane did not plan on letting May know about Spiderman, as Peter had retired after he lost a leg in his final conflict with the Green Goblin, and was now working as a police scientist. However, at the age of 15 May started developing her own powers. She secretly trained with her "uncle" Phil Urich for a short time without her father's knowledge. Peter eventually accepted that he had to let May make her own decisions when he witnessed her save many innocent lives and reprimand Crazy Eight. He was on his way to court when Mr. Nobody attempted to break him out.

    Father Daughter Relationship

The first time Peter and May fight together is when May accidentally gets transported back in time. She attempts to stop Spyral from changing dimensions, but her additional weight caused him to time travel instead. She ended up in Midtown High, when her father himself was a student there and sees him getting bullied by Flash Thompson. She gets chased by Human Torch (who became leader of the Fantastic Five in MC2) on to the rooftops where she loses him. Spider-man finds her though and, thinking she's an impostor, attempts to apprehend her. She eventually uses her own super agility and web slingers to lose him, which confuses Peter. She tracks down Spyral who claims the only way to get back to their own time is for both of them to enter the time portal together. She agrees, but Spider-man and Human Torch find them just as they're about to go in. Johnny tries to apprehend the both of them, but Peter calls him off, trusting May. Before entering the portal, May accidentally refers to Peter as 'Dad'.

    Losing the Powers

In a battle with the super-villan named Killerwatt, who controlled electricity, severly shocked Spider-Girl, causing her to lose her spider abilities. The aftermath she still resumed to be Spider-Girl, she used the Green Goblin glider and the Green Goblin bombs to fight criminals, until she got in a battle with "The New Spider-Man" (Spider-womans son), she fell into a generator, which she was severly shocked again. She gained her powers back along with some new powers.

    Facing Her Fathers Past

Spider-Girl was faced with other spectors from her father's past, including the near-invincible Black Tarantula. The Tarantula arrived from South America and selected May Parker to be the perfect young woman to carry his bloodline. Creating "Team Spider" to supposedly help May in her war on evil, he tried a twisted mind-game to win May's heart, while seeking to strengthen his grip on New York's criminal infrastructure. She also fought the Savage Six, and also fought Aftershock (Electro's daughter).

    The Team Up

Spider-Girl recently teamed up with Felicity Hardy who took up the role of the Scarlet Spider.

    Powers

May has the same basic set of powers as her father once did. However, we do not know if they are as strong because Peter Parker has retired in this continuum. The only thing we can compare is their wall clinging abilities, and whilst it came naturally to her father, May has to concentrate to keep herself from falling off. She was only able to use her web slingers when her father gave them to her.

Despite not being as strong as her father, May can easily out do Peter in agility. She can dodge better than him and has better offense capabilities also.

May has a power that her father, Spider Man doesn't have. May can magnetize an object by touching it. A magnetized object will stick to a wall without falling off, and she can also force an object at high speeds away from her with reverse magnetism.
