Hobgoblin vs Spider-girl
What's Good?
I like the real time events with the Fantastic Four now known as the Future Foundation. Spider-man also makes a guest appearance, which is about time. I like to say that his appearance is positive for Anya because he was just about her age when he started fighting crime. The remarks about Anya having a crush on him was pretty funny. Compared to when Anya was fighting Red Hulk in the beginning of the series, Hobgoblin himself is an A listed villain, so seeing her use her wit to fight him was great. It's not hard to forget that Anya herself has no powers.
Clayton Henry returns as the artist after the last two issues, and he's joined with Cariello Height and Wong. It's a better take than Matthew Southworth's artwork. Everything is clearer to see.
What's Bad?
It takes forever to get to the main event: Spider-girl vs Hobgoblin. Don't get me wrong, it's fine seeing Anya in her civilian life or hanging out with the Future Foundation, but most of this issue was filled with minor details about the Raven and Red Hulk that could have been added in the next issue. I know The Raven group will be the main attraction for this series (since it's being cancelled in two more issues), but for now, let Anya have her moment with Hobbie.
The dialogue is appalling most of the time. There are so many errors in this issue, I can't count them all.
Overall: It's still disappointing that this series is being cancelled in two more issues, but since I already started since the beginning, there's no point in me to stop. I'm hoping that Spider-man makes at least one more appearance before this series is over. I'm going to see this through till the end.
