One thing I have noticed between DC and Marvel, at least before, is that the teen heroes typically have more the sidekick or "boy" role. Similar to how like Robin is typically a kid... eventually they give that up and become another hero. Spider-Man didn't start as Spider-Boy and then eventually become a man. Stuff like Beast Boy, Supergirl, etc.
@The Outrages Spider-boy : actually. I think it would have been different. Easier to pick out his identity. And the villians would be upset theyre plans got tarnished by a boy. And the world would have a different view of him.
